We only stayed the night, had drinks in the restaurant/bar, when I asked for another beer the bartender did not give me a fresh cold glass, who does that, also he was slow with his service

RUDEST DESK CLERK

I had a reservation at this hotel for 4-5 months pd in advance at the time of booking. I called the hotel the week before and was given a confirmation number for a room with 2 beds and a balcony. When I checked in I was it even told that the room I had booked was not available I was just given keys charged for parking and thank you. Get to the room and no balcony was the beginning of disappointment Call the front desk and I’m RUDELY TOLD they didn’t have a room with balcony. Tamara (spelling?) was the rudest most unprofessional front desk person I have ever encountered and she should be ashamed of her hospitality to a customer who was paid and reserved many months before.

Amazing staff

I made a reservation for a friend of mine whose son was having surgery at UAB. She went on effusively about how kind the staff was, how helpful they were, and she stated multiple times that the shuttle was a godsend. She said the beds were comfortable but the people working at the hotel made all the difference. Thank you for helping my friend and being so friendly. Would highly recommend and will stay there again.

Reginald at the front desk treated me like family. He was very kind and patient. He needs to be regional manager or get a huge pay raise. The staff checked in on me during me stay which was nice too.

I was switched out of my rooms three times. The first room that I was assigned was not swept, the coffee machine was not shown any attention. The coffee, sugar and creamers were just thrown on the counter top. The sun was shining into the room which caused the floor to be seen in a better light, it looked as if there were 10 dogs in the room, the night before. Dog hair was everywhere, food was seen lying on the floor behind the bed. I then was switched to my second room without issue, after raising these concerns to the front desk. The second room was fine for two nights but on Saturday the air conditioning unit stopped working. I tried to stay in the room due to me checking out on Sunday morning but the wall unit stated that the temperature was 77 degrees. I was then switched to my third and final room for the night. As soon as I walked into the room, I looked in the bathroom and there was a wet washcloth, with hair sitting in the shower on the soap rack. I did bring that to managements attention and was told it would be noted. No one came to retrieve the washcloth or even come to see what was left. Great area but I will not be staying at this Hilton ever again!
