The lobby and common areas of hotel seem to be kept fairly well, however is a different story when you go to the rooms where you are greeted with cream faux snake skin head boards that are crumbling, mildew in the grout of the shower, mold next to the tub area that someone has attempted to paint over- however it is bleeding out from underneath the paint. The carpeting looks like no one vacuums the edges of-the room, and behind the dresser is caked in dust. The largest eyesore, however, was that one whole wall of the room had peeling paint at the top 1/4 of the wall, indicating some sort of water damage or problems in the room. I was very disappointed with the maintenance manager’s response to my complaint and lack of solutions or compensation for our poorly maintained room, even after she acknowledged that the room was unacceptable. Simply told us we could check out early.
Since I boked through a third-party (Expedia), the manager stated she could offer no compensation or future compensation as a result of our complaint, leaving us to elevate this with Expedia. Even after elevating this issue with Expedia, the main general manager has not followed up to make things right. I’m very dissappointed.
