"Convenient location."

"I was able to find parking easily on the street but the hotel has a parking garage (for fee). The room was comfortable and clean; breakfast was varied and delicious (fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, cereal, pastries, ham, cheeses, breads and croissants). Coffee was good. We had breakfast in the courtyard which was really nice and quiet. Historic district was an easy walk away. I would stay there again. "

"This hotel is a stunning oasis in a fairly gritty section of Porto. We came up the street looking for the hotel and could not believe that it could possibly be on that street after the pictures we had seen online, but it is as beautiful in person as it is shown. Our room was big and bright with a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast room is absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast was substantial. The staff was terrific and very helpful. While we did not care for the neighborhood much and they were very limited restaurants, but it was only a five minute walk to a metro. Even though the neighborhood was not desirable would still highly recommend this hotel due to its beauty and excellent breakfast."

"I can not say enough about the Hotel Jaguar. The staff is more than exceptional. The rooms are very clean and complimentary amenities are provided to include a glass of wine or liquor, fruit plate, and cookies. Even the restaurant serves excellent meals. It is a little bit of a walk to city center and the river, but I like that. If someone does not like to walk ubers and cabs are very economical. I definitely recommend this as a place to stay."

"Lovely hotel in good location but the stars are the staff. I had air conditioning issue and tv issue and they sorted both out quickly which is sign of good service. Gabe the young man in the bar, only 18, serving drinks, snacks and taking dinner orders on his own was very happy, cheerful and professional. He should be promoted. Angelo on reception does a 1st class job as does Vania - her handwritten welcome notes really make a guest feel special. Thank you from a solo traveler."
