We are a family of 4 with kids aged 10 and 13 who visited for 9 nights over winter break. We very much enjoyed this property. Highlights include:- Pool and hot tub area - resort-like and kids spent a ton of time in the water- Kitchen - updated and well stocked - Overall size and layout - plenty of room to spread out- Bathrooms - updated with all the needed space and functionality.We did feel like there was some opportunity for improvement for. This feedback is based on other VRBOs we have stayed at:- Professionalism and communication - this house would benefit greatly with a binder onsite or a pdf sent in advance with details about the house, where things were located, how to use the pool heater, check-out instructions, how to use tvs, good places nearby to get coffee, food, nearest beaches, etc. When we arrived, the code to the door didnât work, it took some time to chase down the owner/property manager to eventually get in. Also, we werenât texted checkout instructions until the day before we left. - Cleanliness and organization. The beds were made and the towels were clean when we arrived, but the house felt lived in when we arrived. Some surfaces were not clean, there were random items in the fridge, and the closets contained a random collection of toys. In - [ ] In addition, the laundry room had random clothing hung and outside there was some broken toys tucked in corners on the lawn. We think the house could use professional cleaning and organization.
