The Space:
Wollemi Tiny House by Tiny Away is a peaceful farm stay in Broke-Fordwich, also known as the oldest wine-making region in Australia. Just an hour away, you'll find bustling Newcastle, famous for its wildlife, and the Central Coast, with its beautiful national parks, forests, and beaches.
Perched on level ground, our holiday homes offer captivating views of the mountains and expansive, park-like grounds that are perfect for guests to explore. As the sun sets, gather around the campfire to swap tales and perhaps catch a glimpse of native Australian wildlife, such as deer, kangaroos, wombats, and birdlife in the area.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home offers well-furnished guest rooms, spacious public areas, and comfortable seating areas. It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "Yengo Tiny House," available with 24 hours' notice in advance.
As an added note, the distance between the two tiny houses is approximately 100 meters, 100 meters away from the main road and 300 meters to the main house.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home and its surroundings, and we ask guests to be careful when exploring.
Preorders are available with 48 hrs prior notice:
- Cheese board is $40 for the platter
- Breakfast hamper is $25 Per person
- Firewood is available for $20 per bag
- Organic pantry items are available at an extra cost
The Neighborhood:
Wollemi Tiny House by Tiny Away is located in Broke-Fordwich, with our holiday homes just an hour away from the vibrant cities of Newcastle and the Central Coast. Need to stock up on supplies? If you're looking to party or explore our local festivities, 80s parties and festivals are also available; please inquire with our land host for more information.
The Hunter Valley is full of places to explore. The Hunter Valley Gardens stand out with colorful displays and seasonal events. Yengo National Park offers rugged gorges and rocky hills, while Watagan National Park has trails, lookouts, and peaceful campgrounds. The Hunter Valley Wildlife Park gives visitors the chance to see kangaroos, koalas, wombats, and many bird species up close.
In Maitland, Maitland Park is a lovely green space with gardens, picnic areas, sports fields, and a pond for a relaxing day outdoors.
Getting Around:

- 2 hrs drive from Sydney
- 1 hr drive from Charlestown
- 1 hr drive from the Central Coast
- 1 hr drive from Newcastle. All are accessible by 2WD.
IMPORTANT: During or after wet weather, guests should park inside the front entry gate and walk to the tiny houses on the designated path, as the soil is clay and cars can easily get stuck. 70m- 80m walking distance from the front entry gate to the tiny house
By public transport: We recommend guests travel by private vehicle, as there are transport options available directly from our property.
Other Things to Note:
- BBQ Grill is not available
- No pets are allowed

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- $150 extra cleaning fee will be charged and paid directly to the land host if any misuse of the cassette toilet or overflowing occurs.
Important note:
- Given the rural setting, children are welcome under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
