Perfect Quiet & Restful Glamp

Stayed for a quick retreat from the city. Beautiful hiking at Kettle Moraine & enjoyed coming back for a rest here. Would recommend & will return!

enjoyed my solo getaway, all the amenities of camp plus electricity! I liked that it was within 10 minutes of swimming lakes, the Kettle Moraine State Forest, beautiful late summer hiking trails. Very quiet.

Hidden gem

A great stay and a hidden gem in my opinion. A quite place to stay at the northern lights campsite, that also has a very friendly and welcoming community. Communication was great and easy to find.

Relaxing Getaway

This was a beautiful, comfortable tent. Very clean. Perfect for relaxing for the weekend and disconnecting. Electricity was a huge plus! Also, close to a shower/bath house.

First Time Glamping

It was a totally different experience...better than backpacking yet not as many comforts as a hotel room. However, we really enjoyed the experience. Loved that we had an electrical outlet and for some reason not a bug got into the tent. Bonus!

Perfect cozy glamping!

We loved our stay here. It was a perfect glamping experience with the outside pond and greenery, as well as the clean, cozy and comfortable inside the large tent. Great communication from Jamie, clean, organized, and quiet, we couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank You! A definite 5 star review hands down and will definitely be rebooking for next year!

Cozy and peaceful little tent!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend away at this cozy little camp. Very clean tent,private little camp area, and easy check in. We spent most of our time at Kettle Moraine hiking and swimming but the time spent at camp was lovely. We got a light show from the lightening bugs and serenaded by frogs in the pond while watching the fire from our tent on our last night there. It's a memory that I'll never forget. We cant wait to return next year.

Gorgeous safari tent stay

Easy check-in, comfy bed/sheets with no neighbors except the gentle noise of frogs in the pond just a few steps away. Green space and trees kept the tent shady. The minimalist tent had a good breeze with the windows open and fan even though it was a very hot weekend. Unfortunately there was no running water nearby and the toilet and showers are a ten minute walk away. Bring shampoo, soap and towels too. There’s a small lake on the property that I saw a family fishing, where the campgrounds had a variety of RVs.

Cozy, Bucolic Gem

LOVE this glamp-site! The tent is airy & bright & stylish, especially with the sunlight filtering in. Bed is plush and comfortable. Experienced a storm one night, and the tent was solid and cozy! The setting is beautiful; private, but close enough to the main house that I felt safe as a woman traveling alone. Several ponds on the property and walking trails. Other campers are on the other side of the trees. The bath house is reminiscent of old summer camps. Perfect base camp for exploring the Kettle Moraine. Owner is very friendly and responsive. Can't wait to go back!

My friend and I stayed at the tent for a weekend geocaching event. We didn't need a place that we would be at during the day just to have breakfast, shower, and sleep. The tent and it's location are absolutely wonderful. The bathroom/shower house was not at all what we expected. Only one shower worked, it was quite dirty. A few upgrades and fixes and it could really be perfectly fine for the location. We would stay at the tent again but only if the facilities received and upgrade/cleaning.

Such a fun getaway!!!

My 10 year old son and I went on a quick weekend trip. We decided to try something fun, and found this campground, which was close to the LEGO store he had been wanting to visit. The tent was absolutely adorable; clean, nice and comfortable. Jamie asked me about wood and I was able to have wood ready at the site when we arrived. My son loved the little pond with it's frogs and checking out the fish on the lake dock. The site is very private, and the rest of the campsites are further down the road. It's quiet and peaceful. We would absolutely stay there again. It was the best easy camping "glamping" ever. Thank you Jamie and family.

Weekend Getaway

Clean property. Cute tent! The tent was closer to a neighboring property than pictures are able to show, but for most of our visit, the people living at that property were quiet. They were just busy working around their property. The chickens wandering the property and sometimes around our site were cute! The rooster crowing at 5am was a surprise, but thankfully I had packed earplugs. My sister did not though, so after a couple of hours of crowing, we decided to get a jump start on the day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Communication was quick and the owners were very friendly in their communication. Thanks for hosting us!
