Trains are a factor of life in all Canadian mountain towns. From the very beginning Canmore was built around the train line, including 90% of the local hotels and condos in town, which means that this property is along a train line, however, it is very well insulated against sound. Bedrooms are on the opposite side of the condo from the train line and the train should not disturb even the lightest of sleepers. Watching the trains go past is actually quite fascinating and not just for the train buffs! Please read our guest reviews for previous insight.

Bien situé, belle vue.Belle grandeur. Tout le monde avait son espace. Merci de laisser des ingrédients de cuisine (sel, poivre, huile, etc). Les ventilateurs portatifs ne fonctionnaient pas et les ventilateurs au plafond étaient trÚs poussiéreux. Sinon trÚs beau séjour.

What can I say, Lovely, comfortable, well provisioned, accurate listing.We loved our stay at 2B.The views are truly spectacular and the photos do not do them justice, we would have happily sat in the comfortable seating area all day watching the light and weather change over the mountains. The property was well stocked with all the essentials aswell as things we didn't think we needed, but used, tupperware to store left overs in! perfect!.The location to downtown Canmore, was perfect, just 5-10 mins walk across the railway past 2 supermarkets, meant we didn't even have to take the car to get groceries. As for the trains, yes we could hear them (but not in the bedrooms so did not disturb our sleep) but not overlly loud even when we sat and counted carriages. Communication from the owners/managers was spot on, leading up to, during and after our stay. We didn't want to leave, and will return.

Good location. Canmore is a good starting location to access all the National Parks in the area and you can get there quickly from Calgary. The apartment was within easy walking distance of downtown as well. The apartment amenities worked great for us and it was an amazing view of the mountains outside the windows. We enjoyed our stay in Canmore.

Cozy Canmore Condo

The condo was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped with whatever you might need. The moveable bookcase as a door was very clever. The bed was very comfortable and we had no trouble falling asleep especially after hiking all day. This location was good for us bc we could walk to restaurants if we choose to do so. Grocery stores were close by also. I’m so glad we chose this condo over something in Banff bc of traffic.

Summit Place 2B

We enjoyed our stay at Summit Place 2B. Nice view of the mountains from the back deck. Train tracks right behind building did not bother us but trains do run through many times a day and also at night. Seeing the trains go by was a unique experience which we enjoyed. Did not like the parking situation by the place. Often no parking available and it rained some and a lot of the parking lot was flooded which was very inconvenient but if good weather this would not be an issue. Over all we enjoyed our stay and the young lady who we talked too a few times that was working at Rockie Rentals when we arrived was very nice and helpful.

Canmore Aug 31 to Sept 5

We stayed at Unit 2B for 5 nights. It was a very comfortable and cozy apartment and perfect for our family of 3. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. The grocery store is right behind the unit on the other side of the tracks. The apartment is close to Banff National Park. The added benefit is the National Park Discovery Pass which saves you about 100 dollars for a 5-day visit. The only drawback is the lack of parking in the evenings as there are a couple of restaurants on the ground floor. But after 10PM, the parking lot is wide open. Would highly recommend the place to others.
