This hotel is not at all as it appears in the listing. In particular, the shot of a mountain view seems extremely far fetched. I did arrive after dark and leave before the sun came up, but what I experienced was basically a huge auto motel wrapped around a big parking lot (there is a small playground). it is located on the access road to the Trans-Canada Highway. The neighborhood did not feel particularly safe to me. Nor did my hotel room that opened directly out to the parking lot. I would not stay here again.

The location is great and close to the town, walkable to many shops just across the street. The beds were comfortable and overall quiet even with the highway just behind the hotel and just what we needed for the weekend.

The worst place I have stayed in a long time. Stayed here once in 2003 and literally nothing has changed- not even the blankets! Smelled of cigarettes, fridge didn’t work, not clean sheets and quite expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Would highly recommend to anyone. One night we ordered in and they forgot to put forks in with the order, I went to the front desk and they hunted a fork down for me, now that’s service!

It’s not great customer service , room is not clean , tv is not work when we call front desk, they send person to fix but he tried to fix for 30 mins but it’s not work. The next day we put room make over even though it’s not done , and they took all towels not replace until we ask, then we mention to clean the room ,in the evening they did, it’s lack of service . Floors are sticky . Next time I don’t want to visit this place.

Pretty old rooms though the loft space was comfortable. Washroom door didnt lock and most appliances were quite old that using them felt like asking for trouble. Location is a plus and what a views. Canmore downtown is very near, shopping is great around. Banff is approachable.
