Per the City of Carlsbad, construction is permitted Monday through Friday 7AM to 6PM, Saturday 8AM to 6PM, and no construction can occur on Sundays or federal holidays. Guests may hear construction activity next door during their stays. It is unknown at this time when construction will be complete. *****

Located steps from the sparkling Pacific Ocean, the "Terramar Beach House" is an ideal getaway for a family beach vacation or a small group gathering. Enjoy the ocean view from the second floor master bedroom, adjacent living room, or your private balcony. This adorable, two-story home features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, two adjacent dining areas with seating for up to 14 guests, and multiple indoor living spaces adorned with classic touches.

On the lower level, find yourself enwrapped in gorgeous redwood from floor to ceiling—perfect for after-dinner socializing or movie watching. On the upper level (accessible via a spiral staircase), a second living area offers ocean views, additional comfortable seating, a wet bar, and access to a furnished balcony. Back on the ground floor, you'll find a lush patio area with outdoor seating, gas BBQ grill, and a fire pit.

Guests can walk 5 minutes to access the beach. The popular "Terramar" surf break is within walking distance for anyone who likes to surf or ride boogie boards. Terramar is also fun for those with little kids. During low-tide kids can explore the tidepools for sea critters.

This property is professionally managed by Haustay Vacation Rentals. Due to homeowner association rules, the nearby private beach access is not available to renters. Quiet hours outdoors start at 9PM. No parties are allowed. Pets are allowed (two dog max), no cats, with a $150 non-refundable pet fee.

The ocean view from the upstairs was exactly as advertised. With the doors open, the breeze through the room was amazing, and the large windows made it a great place to gather.Other than the original entry code not working initially, we had a great stay.

Awesome house and location.

My family had a great stay at this house. The location is perfect and the house is spacious. It provides a great viewing of the ocean from the balcony and the opportunity to fall asleep to the sound of it from the master bedroom.

The property's location was ideal—just a short walk to Terramar Beach and a quick drive to both North and South Carlsbad beaches. Also, Legoland was only a few minutes away. The house was fully furnished and equipped with everything we needed for our stay, including beach towels and gear stored in the garage for our use. I would recommend this property and stay here again.

We loved our stay at this property! Lots of space, you could easily have 2 families share the property! Ocean views were perfect! Only thing missing was beach access which we knew we didn’t have when booking, but that would have made the stay that much better! Will for sure be coming back to stay here! Host was super responsive and checked in with us several times throughout the stay! It’s was so so so perfect!

It was nice

It has a nice view of the ocean from the second floor. I wish the back outdoor area had a garden hose so I could have sprayed down the table and chairs and ground from the bird poop. We would have liked to sit out there. Overall, we had a nice time and it was walkable to a good surfing beach.
