Everything about this place is exactly as listed. When we arrived someone was parked in our assigned spot, so we called them. They immediately answered and got it taken care off. It is a very open floor plan with a picture perfect view of the ocean. Since it is down at towards the end of Ocean Street there were very few people. The walk to the center of town only takes 5 minutes or so, and you have access some of the best parts of the beach for daily searches for sea shells. The place has a lot of space which I believe they could have used to place some extra beds if they wanted. We have been coming to Carlsbad every year for a long time, and this is our new favorite place to stay.

The condo was perfect! Ocean views from every window, which we left open even at night to hear the surf. The condo was nice & decorated like a beach cottage. It's exactly like the pictures. We had everything we needed. We would love to go back. Perfect!

This was EXCALLY what we were looking for! A house right on the beach. Just like the photos you walk right out your back gate and are on the beach. All day and night you just hear the waves crashing, it was perfect. The unit was actually bigger than expected. Morning coffee and wine nights on our balcony were amazing.

It's a great location though there is not much beach area to sit in front of the home. It may have been a higher than normal tide. The home needs some TLC. Lots of aging inside and out. Please fix the blinds in the main room, it's a great view but you can't raise the blinds to enjoy it!

What a disappointment?

Pluses areLocation, View, Comfortable Bed, Lots of Towels, BBQ works well. Negatives:Lots of rust in heating unit and bathroom shower, Cookware was falling apart, MAIN ROOM BLINDS WOULD NOT RAISE, so could not see view properly, Built in Microwave is out of order. While they do have a small replacement microwave, the built in one not working means that there is no light or fan over the stove top. Outside light sensor on balcony kept turning on and off all night, One of the other suites has access to the balcony in front our your bedroom window. So the other suite tenant walked out in front of us while we were still in bed. Very poor sound insulation in upper suite so that we could hear every move they made. Finally the garbage cans outside were overflowing when we arrived for our 3 day stay. It looked like the garbage had not been put out for well over a week if not longer. The owners request that if you are there on Monday to put the garbage out which we would normally be happy to do. We had to pile our garbage on top of a very full bin and wheel the cans out onto the street. Not impressed

Great spot but.....

Place was in an outstanding spot, right on beach, waves crashing, great location. Clean and spacious. Good parking. The problem we experienced is the noise. Paper thin walls all around, including ceiling, so you heard everything your neighbors were up to. That is the only negative I would comment on. If you don't mind some background noise, till about 10pm, the location again is awesome!

Very loud!

I would ABSOLUTELY never return to this property! This is an old building with paper thin walls and ceilings. The 615 am wakeup incessant running and jumping on the furniture from the kids upstairs was exacerbated by the loud music by the room next to us at 130am. 4 hours of nightly sleep for the first three days. Management tried their best to get folks to be courteous, and respect the reasonable 10 pm to 10 am quiet hours...but to no avail

Truly on the beach.

Direct access to the beach. Great porch to enjoy early morning and late night lounging while enjoying the ocean. Everything we needed to get started on our stay was provided. Comfortable and clean.

The house number was difficult to find. Stair accesses slacked handrails and lighting, and were dangerous. Unit identification was missing. Windows needed cleaning. Blinds had bent and broken slats and could not be raised so the view could be appreciated. The heater was badly rusted. Bathroom tub lacked non skid surface/mat and safety supports. There was no handbook on operation of any equipment/TV, local convenience and emergency services.

Great Place!

This was a great place to stay, pics are accurate. I agree with the other postings that the Unit C isn't obvious when you 1st arrive. Walking distance to Carlsbad Village, which is already a great place to tour and be at the beach. Definitely recommend.

Terrible Customer Service/ Great Location

Check in is not until 4:00pm. We walked in at exactly 4:00 and the cleaners were still there. They didn’t leave until 4:20. I had requested an early check in and didn’t hear back from the Property Management Company until two days after we’d checked in. On a positive note, the location is amazing.

We had a common deck with another unit which put them right outside our bedroom, not always the best

When we got there we did not have a parking spot someone from another unit was parked there we contacted Vasca the leasing manager they said they would contact the local management team we finally got our parking spot the day we left. We also had no hot water asked about that for two continual days again they said they would get the local management team on it and we never had hot water I believe in the state of California this is a health code violation. Overall the facility that we stayed in was OK I would not stay there again because of the no hot water and other residence parking in our parking spot and would not move no one from the local management team had contacted us so I really felt like we were just pushed under the rug. Nice location

Obviously the location of the condo is excellent! It's a fairly basic condo and community, so really the draw is the location. The cleaning solutions used left a pretty strong smell and there is no A/C because of it being near the beach so on hot days it's pretty warm in the unit. Overall it was nice.

We travelled from Illinois and enjoyed our stay and the Carlsbad, CA, area. This condo is laid out well and was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location on the beach was beautiful, and quiet. Outdoor furniture and fire pit was very nice. Great location and easy walking (10-15 minutes) to the Village with its numerous restaurants and shops. The condo needs an updating. Several doors are damaged and need to be replaced. A new paint job on the interior is needed. Several areas on the exterior need repair. The wi-fi was spotty and became frustrating. Reporting this issue took several days to connect with management. None the less, we give this property four stars with the potential to be five star with some upgrades.
