Pros: The front desk staff are helpful and friendly. Room is clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. Busy but nice neighbourhood in city centre, 25 minutes walk to the waterfront. Cons: Breakfast is basic, limited variety, no eggs (except one day I saw a few hard boiled eggs). Room is dark (not enough lighting).

Easy to get to the tourist attractions by taxis, Safe area, with nearby restaurants, cafes and small markets. Friendly and pleasant staff.

The property is within the anfa region which makes it a good place to buy things and is accessible to many shopping areas. The problem i found was that when booking this hotel there was some confusion on the more luxurious barcelo hotel which may be there sister location and that if you book fastly that you can inadvertently pick the lower tier hotel in which i may have done. This hotel that i stayed in was a satisfactory, the room was very small and had limited outdoor lighting as the window does not allow adults to be able to.look through without bending 45 degrees. It was a bit odd. It was a very uncomfortable situation that i didnt like. Dont come to this place if you want to hear car sounds in the late nite. There is no soundproofing and it was bad. Also the shower stall can be a death trap as the surface was flat white plastic for its base. There is no grip on the shower surface so be warned. Also very stingy on the towel replacements. Front desk wasn't very approachable or it could be that they didnt speak english.
