"This is a magnificent older hotel property. The best parts are those that have been left in their original condition. The remodeled lobby, etc are nice but nowhere near as elegant as the original. By modern standards the room was small, and the bathroom just adequate. But that’s what all hotels used to be like. The Q restaurant was splendid and the food was excellent. The menu could have been more extensive. The Gold option amenities were well worth the price and very nice."

"First, when I was checking in, they upgraded me to a better room- what a lovely surprise! The room was very nice, and the view was nice too. They made sure we understood how to access the parking area, and showed us some areas in Victoria that I was interested in on the map. If I had one small issue, it was that their pillows are very big and dense- not something I am used to- I likely should've asked if they had softer ones available. Everything else was FABULOUS!"
