Morning Ritual: Summit Coffee: This airy, modern cafe is a community favorite for its ethically sourced beans and seasonal lattes.

Vibrant Vibes: Ru Ru’s Tacos & Tequila: Located in a historic Tuscan-style villa, this spot features a lively patio and a creative menu where every dish is named after a famous movie quote. It is a fantastic place for fresh margaritas and a fun, lighthearted dinner.

Date Night: Stagioni High-end Italian set in a stunning historic villa. It’s intimate, authentic, and features wood-fired pizzas served with specialty scissors.

The Wine Connoisseur: Bond Street Wines: This boutique shop offers a curated selection of unique finds from small-production vineyards. It is a hidden gem for wine lovers, featuring a relaxed counter where you can enjoy a glass with some light aperitivo snacks.

Latta Park: 31 acres of rolling hills, tennis courts, and shaded trails.

Carolina Thread Trail: Accessible via the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. A 15-minute walk takes you to the entrance of Freedom Park to access this massive regional trail network with over 30 miles of interconnected trails.

Nearby Attractions

Mint Museum Randolph: Housed in a historic federal mint, this museum features an extensive collection of international art, ceramics, and fashion set within a peaceful park.

Bechtler Museum of Modern Art: A stunning terra-cotta masterpiece that showcases mid-century modern works by icons like Picasso, Warhol, and Miró.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this elegant apartment in Charlotte's historic district. It was so much fun for me to return home to the city I love, and get to wake to the sound of the morning train--just as I did as a child. The unit was well appointed and beautiful, with excellent light and privacy, good parking, and safe walking areas (paved sidewalks) for our dog. Super convenient to Freedom Park and uptown, Eastover neighborhood...not to mention fab Laurel Market for lunch! Doug was a wonderful host, and very responsive to our inquiries. Thank you. We will definitely stay there again!

Easy and Convenient

We were staying in Charlotte to find a house to buy and this VRBO was in a great location to look at in-town neighborhoods. Close to downtown and extremely convenient. Everything about it was easy.

Above and Beyond!

We absolutely loved this Myers Park apartment, and cannot say enough good things about our stay! The host was extremely accomodating and helpful, and the ease of communication was exceptional. The extra touches left in the apartment for our stay were above and beyond anything we've ever experienced in any of the other VRBO properties in which we've stayed. The fixings for an easy but tasty dinner as well as a light breakfast were in the apartment when we arrived, as well as a few options should we have decided we'd like a cocktail or glass of wine. The kitchen was well appointed with dishes, cutlery, cookware, etc. The furnishings were very comfortable and the apartment looked exactly as depicted in the photos online. We LOVED the large couch(es)! The neighborhood was lovely (aside from the unfortunate construction that was going on on the street in front of the building, which is obviously not the host's fault or under their control), and central to everywhere we wanted to go in and around Charlotte. Checkin and Checkout were simple and non-contact, and the host even accomodated an early checkin request, which started our trip off beautifully! The only negatives we could find were the unreliable spotty internet and the tight parking lot, but the fact that there WAS a parking lot at all was something we did appreciate. The property seemed well tended and maintained. We appreciated having the "smart" TVs in the unit, which we took advantage of during the evenings after our daytme sightseeing and visiting family. The one bathroom is very small, and is a "Jack and Jill" style bathroom that is located between the two bedrooms. This was not an issue for us since we were the only ones staying in the apartment, but for other combinations of guests (two couples, for example) it might be more of a consideration. Overall, this was a fabulous place to stay and if we visit Charlotte again, it will be at the top of our list of places to book.

Super Great Stay!

Jim's place is wonderful! The place impeccable in every way! It was meticulously clean and had such character. Jim had some great snacks, wine, and even some breakfast foods waiting for us. After traveling and being exhausted, this was greatly appreciated. We walked several times in the neighborhood. It is safe and beautiful. We look forward to staying there again!

What an amazing property...just all the perfect amenities and attention to detail in the decor and design of the space. I have looked at the Home Collection properties for two years but it has never worked out for me to book. Won't let that happen again! Hope to try a little bigger place next time...bathroom was a bit tiny!! I've stayed all over the world in 5 star resorts and properties but this was a real treat. Thank you so much!

Wonderful experience, beautiful, peaceful property. Perfect.

Every time we visit Charlotte, we always stay in a property managed by The Home Collection. We have stayed in several, and the properties are always beautifully designed, graciously appointed, clean, quiet, comfortable, safe, convenient to everything, and in a beautiful area. This particular property had an amazing sun room, with lots of natural light and a fabulous view of the sunset. Always a wonderful experience!

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful experience staying at Queens Road for a long weekend. The apartment was immaculate. There were MANY thoughtful touches that are above and beyond other lodging choices. Breakfast and dinner ingredients were left for us. The location is perfect. I could spend a lot of time writing about all the great things but I feel like it will ruin the surprise. Just one bathroom in a Jack and Jill type style so if you need a lot of privacy this might not work. Otherwise, you can't go wrong. Enjoy!

An Enjoyable Stay in Myers Park

This was my second stay with the boutique home collection owners but at a different location in Charlotte. Again the apartment was extremely clean, spacious and light filled. The decor and artwork are unique. It is true to the pictures on the website. Although it was on Queens Road, it was also very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and Charlie, the manager, leaves snacks, wine and liquor. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels. the washer /dryer adds to the convenience. If anything is needed Charlie is very responsive to requests and answers texts readily. I used the sunporch and outside terrace daily. The property is located in an architecturally interesting older neighborhood of Charlotte. It is close to restaurants, grocery stores, a farmer's market and a Greenway which made for great walking. It is also very close to Uptown. I would highly recommend this apartment to any visitor to the city.

It was a blessed time. Thank you(:

It was a blessed time. Thank you(: The house was clean and with all we needed to be comfortable in the time we were there. We love the nice token of leaving food and drinks for us, it made it ease the transition to the place and gave us a home feeling . The outside balcony looks a great place to enjoy but it was really dirty This is the only complain I have.

Old South Refuge

The property is conveniently situated about ten minutes from downtown Charlotte. It is spacious and well appointed, presenting a mix of urban chic with old southern charm. The back, screened-in porch was by far my favorite place. It rained and I was out there for hours, reading and napping. I would recommend the property without hesitation.
