Good choice

This is a good choice in that price range. Convenient to airport. It had a family run feel and everyone was helping out. Breakfast was decent and free. It was clean. Hotel overall is typical of a 70s-80s build with some wear and tear but not too bad. Swimming pool looked decent.

We had only been in the room 10 seconds when I spotted a huge cockroach crawling across the headboard. Luckily my wife was checking out the washroom area and didn’t see it. I managed to get rid of it without her knowledge, otherwise we would have been switching hotels. It is an old building with no sound proofing between rooms. It is located 4 minutes from the airport and flights went all night. I can’t comment on the breakfast because we left for our flight before it was open.

Comfortable room with everything we needed, also offers a free pick up shuttle to and from the hotel. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.

I had checked into my first room to find the sheets had stains and burns in the sheets, the covers and the mattress! There were stains on the pillow covers from the last person. The light in the bathroom didn’t work. So I asked to be moved. Next was basically the same. I finally got a room that was ok but canceled my return stay on the way back home. The staff is kind but doesn’t make up for how dirty this place is. Not to mention at night the parking lot felt unsafe on the back side of the property. As a single female traveler, I would not stay here.
