The lobby has great character, the rooms are nice and modern with nods to the past. There is a roof top terrace which is probably lovely on a summer evening and the front porch has character. Parking is included but the lot was a bit of challenge, especially as the hotel was busy. Easy walk to downtown and to the water.

An ok stay. The staff were fine, if not particularly friendly. There was a wedding at the hotel so maybe everyone was just tired/stressed. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. The bathroom is VERY small (you can barely turn around in the shower without bumping into the built-in dispensers), with terrible water pressure and awful fluorescent lighting. No robes or slippers. There was a dog barking in another room for over an hour. Not even a “good morning” when we came down for breakfast. I understand it’s breakfast time and very busy, but maybe there needs to be more than 2 staff for the morning rush! The food was ok, nothing special. For the luxury price tag, I expected slightly elevated service and accommodation. The location is great though - although there are lots of hotels in the area. If we’re in PEI again, I would probably try somewhere else.

Personally I think this hotel is "over-sold". It's expensive, which is fine but the value for your money is lacking. Parking is out behind the hotel, if you can find a spot because it's also a public lot. The main floor of the hotel is very noisy. The day we checked in there was a function in the main ballroom which spilled out into the main lobby which made it very difficult to check in. The rooms are nice but very small and very noisy. You can hear every noise from the hallway. We happened to get stuck with a room right beside the elevator and all night all we heard was the groan of the elevator machinery. To sum up, I would not stay at this hotel again and cannot recommend it to others.

Lovely, beautiful building. Staff were top notch, very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was excellent and was nice having outdoor seating with a fire place. Kids enjoyed the pool. Location is great for walking downtown Charlottetown. Room was clean and comfortable but our air conditioning wasnt working and our room was very warm and stuffy and the smell of cigarette smoke was not nice. Which made our stay less pleasant.
