The suite was excellent and the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. The only negative thing was the dinner. My girlfriend and I had the “special “ a prime rib. Both were very fatty, tough and stringy. The absolute worst I have had in the past 60 years! I regret having ordered them. The rest of the meal was delicious.

A Hidden Gem

Although it was probably because it’s their slower season, our booking got upgraded for free! The staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. There was some mild wear and tear on the room (rips in the carpet, a switch for the fireplace missing, and the fire place did not work) the room itself was beautiful, cozy, and had a great view with a small sitting area. Even if you’re passing through - stay here and have dinner in their dining room! It’s delicious and located on the first level of the hotel. There’s even a bar down the hall from the main lobby

This is our second time staying here, we enjoy the history of the property. It is quiet and the hotel has a lot of charm. Our main issue was very low water pressure in the shower. The town is cute just not any good options for dining. Which is ok for us, we drove into Colorado Springs for dining.

Such a wonderful stay. My wife and I got a Jr Suite which was was much better than the photos online showed. We had so much privacy we felt like we truly had our own space unlike many other hotels we've stayed in. The historical hotel was beautiful, and we look forward to staying again in the future!

Lovely old hotel. My husband and I love these kinds of properties. The main restaurant was amazing! My only issue was the main staff when you walked in. They were young and rude.

The Cliff House was a refreshing stay. Very walkable to most restaurants in Manitou. Valet parking guys are the best! And the breakfast buffet was to expectations.
