Aspen Cabin Columbia Mountain Ranch
Located at the base of Columbia Mountain our Cabins are only minutes from Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Resort, Flathead lake and many other destinations in the Flathead Valley.
Each rustic cabin comfortably accommodates up to six guests and are equipped with a small kitchenette and a Traeger pellet grill on the covered deck.
Men's and Women's showers and rest rooms are located across the foot bridge in the main service building as the cabins do not have plumbing.
Cannot say enough how much we loved our stay here! Wish we could have stayed longer. It was so well-kept, peaceful, and family-friendly with a playground, fishing, paddle boards, etc!
My husband, his brother, and I decided to stay at the Aspen Cabin for a week to celebrate our birthday (yes -- OUR birthday because my husband and I share the same birthday! 5/22). Everything on the property is as advertised. The land is gorgeous and very well maintained. One day, I sat next to one of the ponds to read a book and listened to the birds on a sunny afternoon. Talk about a peaceful experience! We would love to stay here again and plan on doing so in the future!
The Aspen cabin was very comfortable, even for six people. The common bath house meant no one in our group waited for the shower or bathroom. The owners are on the property, always available, and fun to talk with. Overall it was a great stay in a great location.
The property was great and the host was fantastic. I may have missed the part in the description that there was not a bathroom or a kitchen in the cabin, but fortunately my traveling partners are campers and we were perfectly fine with using the shower room and the group kitchen both of which were very well equipped and very clear
Was very disappointed that my attempts to adjust my stay more than a month prior were met with dishonest claims and an attempt to have us stay in a tent instead of a cabin. I strongly recommend reconsidering using this host.
This looks like a nice cabin. However we did not expect that there was no toilet in the cabin. We were with our 94 year old mother. There was no way she could be expected to walk 50 yards across the forest in the dark to visit the community toilet in the middle of the night. The owner needs to make it clearer that the only toilets are in the community building. The way the description is it leads one to believe only the showers and kitchen are in the community building. We ended up booking a hotel in Kalispell and lost our money on this unit because we cancelled on our arrival date. It was an expensive lesson, but our mother's safety comes first.
We really enjoyed our stay at the a Columbia Mountain Ranch! The cabin and bathrooms are very clean, and the location is so beautiful and peaceful. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. It's a great place to stay if you're going to be visiting Glacier National Park. I would highly recommend it!
We stayed there with our 3 boys for 2 nights while we visited Glacier. Friendly hosts, very well-kept property, quiet, relaxing location. Perfect stop for us!
Had an amazing time at this property during our stay for Glacier. Highly recommend for families! Lots to do on the property for the kiddos! Hosts were very accommodating!
No toilet in cabin, but the building with the toilets, showers and full kitchen is only a couple cabins away.
Great campground - beautiful trees and ponds.
There are two cabins with bathrooms. The Lewis and Clark and the Elkhorn Cabin.
The staff are very attentive.
This cabin is simply incredible. The breathtaking views, cozy interior, and peaceful surroundings made it a perfect mountain vacation. I can't wait to return.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Columbia Mountain Cabin. The setting was beautiful and the cabin was very comfortable. Beds were great. The owners were friendly and very helpful. I hope we get to go back someday.
Place was tucked back on a beautiful piece of property. We never had to use the community kitchen or laundry.
Community showers and bathrooms were clean.
The only thing that would make this place a great place would be to have a toilet in your cabin. Itâs not much fun to walk in the middle of the night to another cabin to use the restroom. Otherwise great place to stay.
The cabin was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. We even cooked on the Traeger BBQ that was provided! We sat at the pond and campfire and watched the beautiful sunsets every night. We couldn't get the heater to work properly the first night (and it was chilly) I'm assuming due to the fact that the remote has too many options, but we figured it out for the 2nd night. It would be nice if the host would provide instructions. The group bathrooms/kitchen could use a little more attention as the garbage can in the women's bathroom was always full and the dish rack in the kitchen had not been cleaned in awhile. The mirrors in our cabin also did not look clean. I'm a clean freak so I notice these things but overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay there again. The hosts were also very friendly.
Although we were only hear briefly in between days at Glacier, we were delighted with the experience. It was fantastic to find such a comfortable cabin with room for a family of six. We so appreciated the small kitchenette with a toaster, coffeemaker, dishes and fridge that allowed us to have breakfast and pack our lunch right in our cabin. Everything was very clean and we were pleased with the bathroom/shower facility. We'd love to stay again if we were ever back in the area!
Nice place to get away. Owner quick to respond to questions. We wish the weather had cooperated a little more, but it was nice waking up to the deer and wild turkey, each morning.
