There are vacation homes, and then there are places you’d move into for a week and forget the rest. Casa della Marina belongs to that second category. It is an entire house on the beach, in a bay so secluded that many guests never leave it during their stay.
Here, the feeling is that you have your own private corner of the Amalfi Coast. You wake up with the sea at your feet. You have breakfast overlooking the water. You return from a swim and you are already home. It is what many guests describe as “totally off the world.”
The complimentary dinghy transfer from Amalfi, included in the stay, makes the arrival part of the magic, while the old 19th-century tuna fishery gives the house a character and history that are hard to replicate.

Beautiful spot right on the Amalfi Coast. If you want to go into the towns many days, be prepared to pay for the boats to bring you there, or walk up 300 stairs and catch a cab or a bus. We chose this amazing place for relaxation, so staying there for a few days was awesome. It is a busy little beach on some days, but still amazing.

Wonderful little cove on the Amalfi Coast

The location was fabulous. Just a short bus ride from Amalfi in one direction and Positano in the other. There are 300 steps down to the property from the main road, there is no other access point except via water taxis, which you can organise each day. We used the bus so those steps kept us fit during our stay, there are a further 700 steps up to the supermarket, that kept us even fitter lol In the morning you have the cove all to yourself and we used to get up early for a lovely morning swim. There are 3 restaurants in the cove so from mid-morning it's a happy and vibrant place, as beachcomers and daytrippers arrive for the day. In the evening, people come to the cove in water taxis for dinner. We were there for a week in summer and had a fabulous time. Stefano arranged a water taxi from/to Amalfi for check-in and check-out, which was so helpful as it's one thing navigating the steps with a day bag but quite another with cases too! The accommodation is well equipped with an airconditioner in the main living area, and one in each bedroom. The windows have shutters which shut out the light and minimise any noise. It's a beautiful place to stay, absolutely stunning in the evening when there's a full moon, as we were very fortunate to experience during our stay. Highly recommend!

"We chose this apartment ...

"We chose this apartment because of the location and we were not disappointed. The view is stunning and staying on the beach was a unique and beautiful experience. The apartment is clean, bright and tastefully renovated. Our host was extremely helpful with our booking and arranging our transportation to the location. There is some noise from the restaurant below at the weekend and the tv had no reception. It is also a long walk uphill to the nearest supermarket but none of these things bothered us. We loved the exercise gained by walking and you can get a water taxi to Amalfi for provisions. When you can step outside your front door to swim before breakfast or take a dip after dark, where there are 3 restaurants on your doorstep to eat in or takeaway pizza, well that is my idea of a perfect holiday."

"The house is very lovely...

"The house is very lovely, clean and modern, with a breathtaking panorama; very good kitchen facilities. The mood of the holiday was unique and special, staying just on the sea. The beach, at dawn and at sunset, has an incomparable beauty. The owner was really helpful, giving us a lot of suggestions and arranging for us a free of charge water taxi transportation for check in and check out."

"We really loved our stay...

"We really loved our stay at Conca de Marini. Stunning views, great facilities: the apartment was accurately decorated, clean and fully equipped. Having breakfast in the wonderful terrace is one of the best experiences i have ever had in my entire life. The owners were extremely kind, we checked in in Amalfi and were taken to Conca by boat. The personnel are english speaking ang gave us great advice on nearby restaurants and shops. They''ve been extremely helpful when needed. PS Do use the many "convenzioni" (agreements)with local shops, beaches and restaurants provided for by the owner: the discounts you may get are remarkable."
