Fantastic lake house on the south shore of Cuba Lake.

Great lake house right on the south shore of Cuba Lake. Whether a weeklong family summer vacation or a winter weekend getaway to ski or enjoy the fall views, this recently updated house has what you’ll need. Breathtaking lake views abound from the full width enclosed lake room /dining room, and breakfast bar in the kitchen along with the balcony off the primary suite. This home is inviting from the moment you enter. This home has two air conditioning units for the hot summer nights and a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill if cooking is in your plans. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths in the main house and a separate bunkhouse adds a cool kids hangout and sleeping for two more. During the day enjoy the sun from the expansive patio and multiple docks or take a ride down the lake in one of the available kayaks. At night you can enjoy the serenity of a fire using the smokeless fire pit. It’s also a short 30 minute drive to beautiful Ellicottville if skiing or shopping is in your plans.

Minimum 7 night stay (Sun-Sat) from late May through early September.

A wonderful lake house. Very clean and well stocked. Love the kitchen with all that is required to cook plus a comfortable seating area wrapped in windows for lovely lake views.The neighbors were great, two young men helped me unpack my car.We have stayed in this cottage several times, and we love it.

The inside of the house was comfortable, but there were some issues. The cleaning crew left many items from the last guests — the fridge (including the entire side door) and all the cabinets were full. I contacted the host and was told the cleaners should have taken care of it. The upstairs bathroom also leaked through the ceiling, which I reported as well.The bigger concern was outside. The decking and stairs are in poor condition, with nails sticking up and rotting wood that made them feel unsafe. This really needs attention before future guests use the property.

This was our second stay at the property and we would come back again. Easy check-in, plenty of room for our family inside and out, well-equipped kitchen, super charming and clean interior, and a perfect location on Cuba Lake. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, sitting by the fire, and playing games. A very quick drive to Cuba made shopping and dining easy. A great place to make family memories!

Good last minute find

Nice property with lots of conveniences. We appreciated how well-stocked the kitchen was, and the intuitive nature of where items were stored made things easy! Only issues were that the dishwasher didn’t run properly sometimes, and the heat to the upstairs bedroom was lacking.

Beautiful Lake View

We stayed here for family weekend at St. Bonaventure. It was about a 20 minute drive. Such a great view from the living room. It felt like you were on a cruise ship, as the lake is steps away.

Great Spot for Family Vacation

We had a great week at the lake house! We loved the carefully decorated and updated interior and appreciated how well-stocked and comfortable it was. The views are beautiful, and the lake was wonderful for swimming, canoeing and fishing. The amount of lakefront is lovely, we could really spread out on the deck. We soaked up the sun and enjoyed fires and star gazing at night. Kids were so happy with the bunkhouse. The town had plenty of shopping and dining, everything just minutes from the property. The host was attentive throughout and communication was prompt and friendly. We had a week filled with family fun and made amazing memories. We hope to come back!

Cozy Lakehouse

Very cute lake house, clean and well supplied. The views looking out over the lake from the dock and picture windows were fantastic! Only downside was the dock is a little older and uneven. Be careful with small kids or older adults. Overall our family had a great stay!
