The guest room was worn and tattered, cushions were stained and nasty. Peeling paint, hole in the wall water/mold stains. Beds were lumpy. There is no security, no card needed to enter thru unlocked back door. People hanging out and smoking weed. HVAC was loud. TV remote did not work. Room was clean. Carpet is new. I saw no evidence of bug infestation

We stayed there two nights. The first night, our TV didn't work, the tub barely drained, the sink was cracked, and there were several stains on the bed cover. They moved us to another room the 2nd night which was better, but still not great. The hallways smelled like smoke, many things in the hallways and elevators were damaged, and there were absolutely no working ice machines in the building.

The first room I was given, the door was broken. The second room I was given, the curtain was half fallen off and couldn’t close. The third room, I ended up taken, even though the light switch entering the room did not work and neither did the coffee maker in the room. I was a single woman and didn’t fell comfortably in the first two rooms.

Pictures of this hotel are not accurate! It is extremely old and run down. Lights in the hall don’t work, it smells of cigarette smoke and other unpleasant things, and the elevators felt as if they may break down at any moment. The A/C in our room didn’t work, sheets on one of the beds had an obvious stain, and the overall feel of the space was unclean. Our door lock was broken too so we had to rely on the latch as our only security at night. Staff seemed like they didn’t care much when we complained. We ended up checking out a day early because we were so disgusted. I know this is just a budget hotel, but for $150 a night I expected much better conditions.

Don't expect a fancy hotel with this one. It is somewhat run down. Some door handles were broken, baseboards and carpets messed up, bathroom with rusty ceiling. The rooms are spacious and the staff were great. The breakfast included was a grab-and-go breakfast bar with cereal, granola bars, fruit, and donuts. There is nothing hot for breakfast. Make sure you look at the Palm Island Waterpark hours. It's advertised in the name, but it was only opened for a few hours on the weekend when we came in the summer, so we didn't get to do it.

Was last here about 6 years ago. The place has been gutted of any amenities. Waterpark and bar are long gone. It’s literally a place to park and a room for the night. One towel, broken sink, tiny monitor for a tv. You’re not saving anything by staying here.

If I could have asked for a refund, I would have. The booking said before hand no refunds. The main floors and reception do not match the images online. Lobby was nice and desk staff was very friendly. The room was disgusting! Patched wall. The curtain didn’t close and has hanging half off and couldn’t be fixed…. Had street light shining in face all night long. The floors were so nasty and didn’t dare touch the air conditioner, it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in years☹️

This property has been poorly maintained. The room smelt like they dumped a gallon of cleaning solutions in the room. We had to leave after 30 min because the smell was causing a migraine. There were holes in the sheets. 0/10 do NOT recommend.

This hotel is a total dump. It is disgusting and run down. We stayed here solely for our special needs 5 year old to get to play at the water park. The water park is closed Monday-Friday and only open weekends. This is not listed anywhere on the website. Our daughter was devastated.

I booked this hotel 2 months in advance as it had a waterpark for our sons birthday and easy access to Darien Lake for the concert. Upon arrival, the reservation was wrong. I requested two rooms side by side, but they gave away the conjoined room to my room to random people. They said because of the concert at Darien Lake there was no extra rooms and wanted half of our party to go to the 4th floor. We asked for a closer room- they had one down the hall... 3 hot corridors with different urine and other smells accumulating the further you went in. Doors were open with holes in walls. There were holes in our bathroom door, air vent ripped off the ceiling & covered in dust. Blood stain on the ground in the haway. Centipede or something equally creepy in one of the beds. My moms sink was broken & toilet wouldnt flush- inconvenient especially when she was babysitting her grandkids for the night. The water park was closed- which was our plan- so we rearranged and left to Darien Lake. Honestly, it was probably for the better. Their breakfast was cereal, muffins, and apples/bananas. Nothing "hot," except the pitcher of orange juice with no ice. Would not recommend to stay, especially with children.
