Excellent accommodation and convenient for most downtown areas, with good transport options close by. The apartment was clean and tidy and nice comfy beds. No issues whatsoever with the vicinity felt completely safe day and night. Highly recommend especially if attending the convention centre.

The building itself is nice. The only bad thing is that there are so many homeless people outside, sleeping and begging for food, money, or cigarettes. It's a very uncomfortable feeling, especially if you have kids.

Nice apartment - uncomfortable surrounds

Upon arrival, we were surrounded by a large number of homeless people who were asking for money. Once we received and read the check in information and drive to Valet (which was free through our booking) we were able to enter and exit the apartment building without seeing or being confronted by these unfortunate homeless people again. The location was handy to downtown Dallas and having a car made getting around easy. Dallas has a lot to offer and we enjoyed our stay. The detail in this review is to assist other people with a bit of knowledge of what to expect. There was a constant police presence and once we got past the first hour of working out how to arrive we felt relatively safe the whole time. Communication with the host was very good and made an uncomfortable beginning turn into a memorable trip to Dallas. Thank you. John

Disappointing

Few of us were in town for a wedding and the stay would such a pain. Check in time was 4pm but we didn't receive info on how to get in until 7pm. It took the host at least an hour, but usually 2 hours, to respond to every message and kept sending my calls to voicemail. I ended up standing outside the building for 2 hours trying to get in contact with them. Once inside, there was no hot water the entire stay and the place smelled funky as there was a layer of water sitting in the dishwasher and mold growing in it. The host has been unresponsive to me and Vrbo support since check in.

This was a nice quiet, comfortable stay for 2 people or 2 couples. It is not really equipped to accommodate more than that comfortably. Beds are comfy, area was clean. My granddaughter loved the hammock.

The room was Great. Nicely furnished with good amenities. Only 1 of 3 elavators worked all weekend and was slow. Never really got our building access code to work well. Valet was unnecessary, unwanted, and HORRIBLE. Self-park in the same ramp would have worked Much better. Next time, we'd prefer a credit for no on-site parking we could use for the lot across the street.

Similar to an apartment building, smelled heavy of smoke. Major of listed amenities didn't work. Check in process was a HUGE HEADACHE. I paid for early check in, because of the pdf not being accessible and inability to get a hold of anyone I didn't check in until typical check in time and they wouldn't refund the early check in fee I paid, we waited outside in Texas heat for about an hour and a half with all our luggage before we could even get in the building. Very noisy music playing all night. Slow elevator. Don't stay here!

Apartment was clean. The building smelled of weed. Not cool for my teenage daughter. Beds were super hard and not comfortable. Homeless people hang out on the corner, across the street. On the last day, I was billed an extra amount bc my daughter decided, last minute, to bring a friend. We used the same amount of the apartment with an extra friend as we would have without her. Wasn't sure why I needed to pay more. Felt like my privacy was extremely violated once I was billed for an "extra person".

Bad communication from property and lack of access to amenities.

This property did not provid acurate descriptions of the access to the amenities. The pool was closed the whole time while staying there (this was one of the reasons for selecting the location). The game room was not available in the times we were told it would be available, the property seemed to close it midday with a padlock on the door. The listing states a pull out twin and queen mattress, there was a twin bed and an air mattress. I am hoping this can be made right.

We have stayed in this building before and its location is perfect for all the fun downtown Dallas stuff you could want. Really appreciate the valet parking for one car. The biggest disappointment was that the pool was closed. The host didn't know anything about it, but when we asked the front desk, they said it had been closed for quite some time. Overall a great stay and would stay again.

Family Getaway

Overall our experience at this location was good. The check in process wasn’t the smoothest as it was difficult to get in touch with the management company prior to our check in time. Because of this my family and I found ourselves waiting outside of the building for our check in instructions. We also had problems accessing the amenities listed on this property. The pool was closed (no one can control that) but the access codes given to us for the rest of the amenities did not work to let us into the gym or anything else on this property. Once inside we had a wonderful stay in the apartment, it was quiet and peaceful. Everything in downtown was in walking distance including the farmers market which is very convenient.

Clean with lots of amenities

The room we had was awesome, clean, had all amenities I could ask for (towels, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hairdryer, k-cups, kitchen supplies) my only comment is that there was some confusion on my part about the check in process, the owner requires a picture of your license and the VRBO app was not allowing me to upload pictures. We figured it out and got the check in instructions. Getting into the building was a little difficult because the keypad is covered by a metal grate, it’s hard to reach the buttons, but that’s more the buildings issue and not the hosts.
