This luxurious log cabin was designed and built exclusively for couples. Whether you are a brand new couple or you've been together for 50 years, we'd love to have you spend time in our romantic cabin. We know how important it is to forget the stresses of everyday life and focus on each other... Our goal is to provide the perfect getaway cabin to help make this possible. This is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and fall in love all over again.

This cabin, referred to as 'The Queen', features an outdoor hot tub on a private deck with a privacy fence. There is a cozy gas log fireplace and all the lights are on dimmers to help set the mood for romantic time together. The bathroom features a custom tile shower for two. Step onto the heated tile floor and grab a fluffy warm towel from the towel warmer. A selection of romantic CD's is available for your enjoyment. Other amenities include a flat screen TV, washer & dryer, mood lighting, robes, and luxurious bed linens. This cabin has it's own free wi-fi so you can keep in touch with your loved ones.

5 minutes from skiing at Canaan Valley State Park, Timberline Resort and Whitegrass.

At Golden Anchor Cabins, we have a total of eight honeymoon cabins to choose from; each cabin with its own unique style. We invite you to stay in each one as you celebrate milestones in your relationship or for other special occasions.

The Queen cabin is minutes from skiing at Timberline Resort and Canaan Valley State park.

Our property is centrally located in the Potomac Highlands in West Virginia allowing you to roam across 'Wild and Wonderful' from the powerful Blackwater Falls and the wonderous Canaan Valley to the awe inspiring Seneca Rocks and Smokehole Caverns. Our cabins are a short drive from cities such as Pittsburgh, PA, Columbus OH, Baltimore MD, Morgantown WV, Winchester VA and Washington DC taking you through year-round scenic wilderness.

All of our cabins have central air, smart TVs, WiFi, a full kitchen and a charcoal grill. We strive to provide elegant, upscale cabin accommodations for all of our guests. Therefore, smoking and pets are not permitted.

Great place to stay!

It was a very peaceful stay. It was minutes from local attractions. Enjoying the local restaurants Sirianni's, and Smoke on the water, to name a few. If u would like to a couple days and enjoy the scenery "Golden Anchor cabins" is the way to go. We are looking forward to staying again!

Everything was just as advertised. We appreciated how clean it was and my husband was even impressed that the grill was clean. We also enjoyed the hot tub outside and the heated towel rack in the bathroom. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Beautiful romantic property

My girlfriend and I wanted a quick private getaway before the holidays. Even though we’re only 1 state over in Ohio, we’d never explored West Virginia so we decided to give it a try. She gasped when we pulled in the driveway after dark the evening of our arrival and there was a lit up Christmas tree in the large front window. We’ve stayed in a lot of rental houses across the US and Europe over the past couple of years, and this property ranks right up there at the top of the list. Very beautiful, high attention to detail throughout the property, and very clean. Truly a great romantic retreat.

We loved our stay at Queen Cabin. It was beautifully decorated and very clean!! It had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the beautiful views. Hot tub was very nice. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Log Cabin On A Grassy Hillside Overlooking A Gorgeous Valley And Mountainside !!! The Cabin Was Immaculate And Was So New Looking With Anything And Everything Anyone Would Ever Need To Have The Perfect Vacation Or Getaway !!!
