The Beaches Hotel and Spa
"Have stayed here many times, but this time I felt they were cutting corners - no biscuits with the coffee tray in the room, and this morning at breakfast most of the fruit juice cannisters were empty, and very little fruit on offer. I do not feel the bath is suitable for older people. I am 81 and had difficulty getting into the shower as the bath is so high. Its a good job there is a grab rail because the bath was so slippy to stand in to have a shower. Getting back out was also very difficult - the paper bath mat is not fit for purpose, ( another example of cutting corners)as it slipped on the tiled floor, and I felt unsafe. I spoke to Reception about this and at my request they provided me with a non slip rubber mat for the bath. Breakfast and dinner were to a good standard. Because of the problems I encountered, I am not sure if I want to stay again."
