Checking in with regards to parking was a bit of an ordeal. We were glad parking was available (even if it was an extra cost) but directions on how to access the parking were limited and took three visits back to the desk to get it sorted out. Very glad I am active and have no mobility issues!

Large and comfortable

Friendly staff and good food in the bar and for breakfast. I had a very large room with very comfy bed! Also easy walking distance to Shelbourne greyhounds and lots of buses into Dublin and indeed easy to get on the DART.

Clean room and very attentive. Staff peread very convenient restaurant right off. The lobby with very friendly staff as well. The hotel was quiet overall, however our room overlooked a small courtyard and you could hear people coming and going with the loud banging of the gate late into the night. Over all, would recommend for location convenience and proximity to other sites in Dublin..

The hotel was very well located for walking into Dublin and access from the airport buses. The room was quiet and beds comfortable, water plentiful and hot and the room service was good. What made the stay special for us was to be greeted by cheerful, smiley Colin every morning at breakfast time. This was in contrast to the staff at reception who rarely smiled and were austere. We would have eaten our evening meal more often at the hotel but the menu did not change and some parts were unavailable, and also it could be quite a noisy environment not a restaurant environment.

I have three words to describe this place: dark, dank and dirty. This is essentially an overpriced Motel 6. As soon as I opened my room door, I was hit with a mustiest odor ever. The room smelled stale, like there was stagnant water nearby. The housekeeping is abysmal and they don't thoroughly clean. When I checked in, I immediately spotted multiple stains on the wall (looked like old food) that weren't cleaned. I also killed a bug on my first night which left a mark and that mark stayed there my entire stay. The bathroom was rotten. The shower and bathroom floor were moldy and full of mildew and dark stains. There were also other small things that annoyed me: they didn't provide body lotion or a hair dryer which is weird for a supposed 4-star hotel. The street was pretty loud but that was the least of my concerns. I can't believe I payed $250/night for such an absyssmal place.
