Fantastic! Super clean, all the amenities you could need, beautiful location close to Sequoia National Park. We had a great time as a couple but I could imagine it would be excellent for a small family.

Lovely and calming home with everything close by
This was the perfect base camp for our vacation to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The house had everything we needed, including fun tetherball and cornhole games in the backyard. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is within walking distance to downtown Exeter's shops and restaurants. The hosts were quick to respond to all inquiries. Highly recommend!
My two boys (age 7 and 11) and I used The Schoolhouse as our base of operations for day trips up to Sequoia and King’s Canyon National Parks. The Schoolhouse and Exeter were both wonderful as starting points for those day trips with drive times to the park entrances at around 50 minutes and 1:20 respectively. The Schoolhouse itself was impeccable - beautifully decorated, super clean, and with all the little touches to make it feel like our home away from home. Both beds were comfy, and the kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook while you’re there. Bonus for the enclosed back yard (so the boys could run around), and the cute little porch where I had a glass of wine and listened to a World Cup match. If we’re ever back this way, I’ll definitely stay at the Schoolhouse if it’s available.
