Expansive deck with ocean views

Situated between beach and Town Center. 4 min walk to the beach, 1 mile from Falmouth Center, this cape house truly has a beach feel. With an expansive deck and widow's peak, there are views everywhere. The house has 4 bedrooms, (3 on the first floor, one on the second floor) and upstairs, the family room is flooded with light. Kitchen has been completely redone.

The house is also situated on a cul de sac. Very quiet, yet less than 1/4 mile to Surfside beach and a 3 mile bike ride to Woods Hole.

We’ve been visiting Cape Cod regularly for nearly 20 years and this home is a real gem. Having the beach AND downtown within walking distance is amazing! The house is clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room for our family of 5. We can’t wait to return next year.

The perfect location

Walk to beach, very close to shops and restaurants, bike riding is excellent especially with the bike trail nearby. A widow’s walk/deck give amazing views, the main deck off the LR is large and has great seating, the lower deck on the back of the house (and the main deck) is accessible from 2 of the bedrooms and stairs from the yard. Very bright and nicely decorated home. Loved it!

Great stay!

This is a great property--we really enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and well stocked with towels and beach chairs. The deck was beautiful and we were able to grill one night. The house is a 5 minute walk to the beach as well. The property did not have a few essentials (e.g., dishwasher soap or body wash etc.) and we communicated that to the property manager but eventually had to get those items ourselves. Also, the rooms were a bit warm at night despite the HVAC running. However, all in all, it was a great stay and we would love to go back!

Big Disappointment and Unreasonable Owner Response

Last year, we rented this same house, and informed the owner in writing that the water and ice in the refrigerator door did not work.This year, the refrigerator and freezer were broken when we moved in on Saturday, 7/20. No rental appliance was provided or even offered, and no new refrigerator showed up until Thursday, 7/25 at around 4:00 pm. It took 3 hours for the new appliance to be installed. Someone from our family, who was there on vacation, had to remain at the house for the 3 hour install because the owner did not send a property manager to oversee it. It is bad enough to have to spend your time that way when it is your own house and your own broken appliance! We threw out $500 worth of frozen and perishable food, as we expected a working appliance upon check-in. We had stocked up on food, expecting to eat out only two nights. We had to buy two large coolers simply to have cold drinks available, and 20 lbs. of ice every day. We asked owner to reimburse us $1500 - $500 for food thrown out and $1000 for added expenses for eating out, inconvenience and downright hardship, over the course of almost an entire week, to settle this matter. We thought that was reasonable, given the owner's failure to provide an absolutely essential amenity to a beach house rental that was paid for up front. He refused to do it, offering us only reimbursement for thrown out food and and a $750 credit towards renting the house next year. Who would ever want to return after such an experience?

Fabulous rental!

We booked this for my dads 79th birthday and had a great time! The house is perfectly right by the beach and so close to town. The beds are so comfortable and the porch is to die for we could have stayed on the porch the whole trip! Great time very comfortable and Josh was a great host.

Perfect Beach House

We had the perfect cape beach vacation here! The house was clean and updated and had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay! Spectacular Rental Close to Beach and Downtown

This house is beautiful with ocean views on the upper deck and an expansive lower deck for outdoor enjoyment. Short walk down to the beach and only a mile into downtown. Owner was responsive and the accommodations were comfortable and beautiful. Highly recommend!

Beach house bliss

We rented this house as we were attending a family wedding and needed extra space outside of our existing home nearby. This was absolutely a perfect house for what we needed. The deck is spectacular, and it was so nice to have A/C during the warm days. The layout upstairs is perfect for hanging out together and all of the windows offer plenty of light. Overall a really wonderful house for a fun family gathering. Communication with Josh was also very easy. Highly recommend.

Perfect week on the cape!

We had the most wonderful week on the cape! Josh was very responsive throughout or stay. During a neighborhood-wide power outage, he provided us constant updates until the power returned. Tons of outdoor space to relax in a very quiet neighborhood for the ultimate unwinding experience!

Fabulous Falmouth Beach Property!

This house is so beautiful and spacious! It’s an easy 4 minute walk to the beach but has nice privacy. It is also an easy 1 mile bide ride to the Shining Sea Bike Path (highly recommend this!). The upstairs living space is gorgeous! It’s so open, airy and sunny. We had the two sliders open most of the time to catch those wonderful sea breezes. We opted not to use the AC, but there is central AC if needed. The deck is huge and has plenty of seats and lounge chairs as well as a grill and table. The yard has some good space for corn hole and other yard games as well. I enjoyed my coffee every morning from the Adirondack chairs on the roof top deck-great views all around! The house is very well appointed and had everything we needed, including plenty of beach towels and beach chairs. Josh was also so responsive to any questions I had. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We had a fabulous stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. This has been the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had-from the quality of the property to the beach location and the interactions and responsiveness of Josh. Thanks for an amazing week!

Perfect from sunrise to sunset

This property was in a quiet neighborhood a short walk to the beach. The interior was comfortable and nicely decorated. Little touches, like luggage racks to keep your luggage off the floor, were appreciated. We spent most of our time on the deck.
