Because Tenaya Lodge is a rural location guests should call the hotel if they need additional directions or information on how to get to the hotel. During winter months, chains may be necessary, even for four-wheel-drive vehicles.
Bears inhabit this area. Do not leave food or beverages (including water) in vehicles and heed all other warnings issued by the lodge.
Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

We enjoyed our cabin. In the off season, note that the restaurants consolidate and only open 1 location with a variety of options. Nice outdoor pool. Nice indoor hot tub. Friendly and helpful staff. Don’t expect pickleball courts. They are being constructed. Wasn’t very busy in September.

Lots of dining options. Easy, free parking. My only not: the vanity mirror in the bathroom is for a 6’ tall person. I am 5’3” and the mirror is 100% useless. Otherwise, lots of little snacks in the lobby, lovely robes and big TVs. All the things. Close to Yosemite too.

Had the best time at the Tenaya Lodge. Such a family friendly place.. loved the pool. The arcade room was a little bare but the kids still had fun. The room was pretty good, clean and comfortable.

Awesome - I LOVE this hotel!

I LOVE this hotel…….. best hotel I have ever stayed in…… and I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world. The staff are friendly, the ambience is second to none, the interior is unique and lovely and the facilities are great. The bedroom is just like any nice hotel (so great) but I love the location and, even better, they have free activities for kids ….. archery, climbing wall, gold panning (we didn’t get to do this) and toasting marshmallows. I already thought it was great from a previous visit here but then I returned and these activities were just the icing on the cake.

We enjoyed our time at the Tenya resort while visiting Yosemitie. The resort near the South entrance had multiple dining options. We got back pretty late each day after visiting the park and the main resturant was still open which was nice as there are little options nearby. The pre order breakfast option also helps save time in the morning. The activiites were great for the kids including Archery and a climbing wall. There are nice indoor and outdoor pools as well. Staff was friendly and room was comfortable as well. Would recommend to others.

Beautiful lodge with spacious rooms. Many activities for family fun. The pool is well kept and comfortable. Location is close to Mariposa Grove of Sequoias. The hotel offers complimentary snacks and smores station during your stay. Includes a solid amount of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The hotel room spaciously accommodated our family of five comfortably. Would stay here again.
