Authentic Farm-Stay Experience!

Staying at the guest house at Heritage Farm gives you the opportunity to enjoy country living while not sacrificing the modern amenities that you enjoy. This fully equipped, beautiful 3 bedroom home offers accommodations for up to 11 people.


Heritage Farm is a working alpaca farm with over 50 alpacas you can watch and interact with. Also residing on the farm are a flock of chickens and a few goats. Make friends with our black Labrador, Juno. If you want to, you can help with the daily chores of feeding the animals and collecting eggs. After that, you can explore the big red barn that was selected as one of the top-ten Bicentennial barns in the state. Roam around the 120 acre homestead, woods and creek and soak in the sights, sounds and smells of the farm.


Activities for kids include helping with farm chores, wading in the creek, swinging on the large platform swing and hiking our trails by crossing the creek on a suspension bridge. Be sure to visit our farm store before you leave where you can shop for alpaca products such as sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves. Pick up some honey made from bees on our farm or some farm fresh eggs from our flock of pastured chickens!

If the dates you prefer are not available, check out our newly renovated River Birch log home. This lodging option is in a beautiful wooded section of the farm and has all the modern amenities as the Heritage Guest House!

We stayed here while in town for a Purdue graduation (about 50 minutes away) and had a wonderful experience. The house was incredibly welcoming and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of our favorite parts was enjoying the beautiful sunrise from the porch in the morning- such a peaceful way to start the day. The property itself was fun to walk around and explore. We especially loved the sweet cats and friendly dogs that added so much charm to the stay. The nearby towns had such a quaint, cozy atmosphere that made the trip even more enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend this property to others!

Charming Hoosier Farmhouse

We stayed at the alpaca farmhouse to celebrate the New Year with family. It was the perfect getaway that was close enough and far enough away from home to feel like a mini vacation. The scenery is beautiful and the farm animals are adorable. The hosts are very accommodating with great communication. Overall we give the rental 5/5. It was spacious, clean, and the WiFi was surprisingly fast. The teens in the group loved using the finished basement for hanging out and watching movies (we brought a portable projector). For next time, it would be helpful to supply some non-stick Teflon pans for the kitchen and probably a new Keurig maker in which guests are only allowed to use bottled/ filtered water. Thank you and Happy New Year!!

Amazing stay on alpaca farm

Farm owners Tim and Beth are very pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed staying in such beautiful home on your farm .thank you Tim got alpaca tour and feeding .we love all of them .on a day of our arriving alpaca had newborn baby it’s a very serene place for anybody needs to cure some blues and celebrate life

Great Experience while visiting relatives

I traveled with my husband, parents, and dogs up for a large family Christmas. This property was large enough for all 4 of us and it was very cozy. We enjoyed our nights by the fireplace watching Christmas movies. The alpacas were fun to watch running through the field and playing. And it was a blast getting to meet them!

Extremely enjoyable

Beautiful setting. It was fascinating watching and learning about the alpacas. Although we had no children with us, there is a lot for them to do. We would suggest you bring all the food supplies you need with you as it’s quite a trek to any grocery store. While in the area be sure to visit the Kokomo opalescent glass factory. Fascinating and historical. Thanks for a great experience

A wonderful place

My family and I spent the weekend here ,it is truly a lovely place. The home is beautiful and my grandchildren had a blast feeding the Alpacas,swinging on the big swing and playing in the creek. We plan on returning next summer
