How close is Cozy Home Away From Home! to downtown Florence?
House was clean and had the space we needed. Disappointed in the way overall experience. Dryer and bathroom vent was very loud, beds were not very comfortable, pillows either smelled and couldnât be used or were too soft and offered as much support as cotton candy. Good hot water and water pressure, but only had 5 towels, which means we did laundry daily for showers and hot tub. Kitchen has minimal supplies, one baking dish, less than 8 of each utensils, and no hot pads for items out of the oven. Neighborhood seemed safe but busy. Neighbor cars are parked all on the road and a car was parked in front of the house the entire stay. We stayed over New Yearâs Eve so we stayed up late for the new year, and even with the holiday, a 2 hour later check out was 30. Which we declined. Overall the house checked the boxes of what we needed and the location was good for us. We chose here because of the hottub and Location. We would not choose to stay here again. Host seemed to be a company and not an actual single unit owner. The extra charge forMore than one person is also a turn off.
House was exactly as described, the location of the house is in the middle of everything in Florence. Will definitely be coming back and booking. Any questions asked during my stay were answered quickly. No issue what so ever. Quiet neighborhood.
Such a cozy home. It was a great place for us and our boys to stay while visiting museums. I loved that they had extra blankets and an extra large couch or whole family of four could snuggle on. Great and fast communication with the property managers.
Centrally located property for the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum visits. The home was very clean and beds were comfortable. The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood and there is a walking path right behind the house. Communication with Grand Welcome was very good and the staff was very prompt in responding to questions and concerns.
We just wanted a little place to get away. This was the place it was perfect for us to relax like we were home but feel like we were on vacation. I only wish I could have enjoyed the hot tub more.
This was our first time using VRBO for a vacation stay and this was the second place that we stayed at and it was also a great place to stay. It was clean and had a lot of amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Since we were traveling with grandparents, there was one step on the steps coming into the house that was a little higher than the others, but we were able to work around it. Also, it would have been nice to have handrails on the stairs inside the house. In any case, we did enjoy our stay. Thank-you for giving us a wonderful experience!
This property was the perfect size for our family of 5 and close to many amenities in Florence. Also was an easy drive to all the places we wanted to see. Had everything we needed. We mistakenly did not realize it was in such a crowded neighborhood with lots of construction going on at the time, but we really weren't there enough for it to be an issue. Property managers were very responsive.
This is not a good place for seniors to be staying because of the lack of handrails in the huge step to get up onto the front porch and no handrails up and down steps in the split level
My elderly mother and I stayed here while the flooring in our home was redone. It had everything we needed and was clean. The problems we encountered were the steps leading up to the house and the refrigerator froze everything. My mother could not enter the home without a great deal of help. There is a huge step going into the house that was impossible for her to navigate without a great deal of help. We set the refrigerator at the lowest setting and still everything was frozen. Other than those issues- we had a nice stay.
We enjoyed our stay to the fullest. It is a quiet neighborhood and had everything we needed. The hot tub was nice to use. The lights on the back deck did not work, but we opened the curtains in the dining area to reflect light out onto deck, so we were fine with that! The light switches are a little confusing throughout the house, flipping different directions to turn on and some didn't seem to control anything that we could figure out, but again...minor detail that didn't effect our stay! Beds were super comfortable! Will definitely stay here again when I come back to the area to visit with friends.
Visited the area for my birthday weekend! The house location was perfect for all places we wanted to visit. The house is well stocked, beds and big couch are super comfy!
We liked the house very well. Everyhting was clean and listing was accurate. Checkin was delayed several hours due to time differences, and the hottub water was too low to use. Other than those 2 things, everything else was fine!
My family and I needed a nice place to stay before flying out of Cincinnati for vacation. This house was SO comfortable! It was close to the airport and very convenient. I would love to stay there again and highly recommend it!
My family traveled from California and enjoyed the home for 2 nights. The home was very clean! We loved getting in the hot tub and watched our children try to catch fire- flies in the backyard.
Grandparents and 2 grands and their parents stayed comfortably in this neighborhood home. Multiple grocery stores and Restaurants within 10-12 minutes. Hot tub on deck was nice. We traveled to The Ark Encounter (40 min away) and The Creation Museum (25 min away) and Coney Island water park (20 min away in Cincinnati) and Jungle Jims International Market (30 min away in Cincinnati).
The property was ok. Some cleaning is clearly overlooked so I wonder about other things. The lock on the back door was not working, and when we contacted the owner to fix it, the remedy was to duct tape a piece of wood to the door. Also, the bedroom door was falling off the hinge when we arrived. The neighborhood was not great either.
