Our room was cold and there were no extra blankets in your room. Next the recliner in our room had the lever missing, it actually looked like someone had tore it off and it was just never replaced. The toilet was super low to the ground, so only meant for short people. In the vending room the soda machine did not work and the snack machine was empty. I did ask the lady at the desk if there was a working one and was told unless I wanted coffee, water or chips I would have to go next door to Casey’s

Free continental breakfast was quite satisfying. Pool, hot tub & work out facility were decent as well. Room on 2nd floor with no elevator so did do a lot of climbing up and down stairs. Something to be mindful of at least. We stayed two nights and none of our dirty towels were removed & we did not get fresh ones for day two. Often no attendant available so were not able to ask either. Ice machine & guest laundry were all conveniently located on 1st floor & easy to use. Good size fridge & microwave in rooms is a plus.

My account was charged twice and I was told that the more than $1k charge was a normal process to prevent bounced payments. They reimbursed the charge after I requested it, but they didn't want to and said it would drop off the next day. The receptionists were not at the desk most of the time and we had to wait for service. The rooms had long strands of hair on the sheets and hair on the bathroom floor. There were several very visible stains on the linnen and the walls. The staff changed the linnen at our request. The hotel is old, very outdated (think an 80s basic room), and worn. For the amount paid, it was embarrassing to take my family. Went to visit a family friend at the larger hotel nearby and it outshined this one. We will definitely stay at the other one next time.
