50 Shades of White: Beachfront, Modern & Spacious!

​​​​​​​50 Shades of White is a privately owned unit within the Gullwing resort and has undergone renovations in 2023 to modernize and differentiate it from other units at the resort. Renovations include all new kitchen cabinets, countertops, appliances, and sinks, with new vinyl flooring and modern light fixtures throughout the unit.

Owners have taken extra steps to try to ensure that you have the best experience possible! This condo has well-stocked cabinets if you intend to cook, with plenty of cooking tools as well as a Keurig. On the beach side is a spacious master suite. The kitchen and living area are spacious and open concept, with granite counters in the kitchen, a dining table for 6, a separate wet bar (or workstation if you must use your laptop!), and an open beachfront living room with a large flat screen streaming television. The living room opens with double glass doors to the lanai. The lanai looks directly over the pool and beach, which is relaxing for morning coffee, a mid-day snack, or beautiful sunset views. The table and chairs allow enough space for six to eat a meal or play a game. A luxurious master bedroom with a king-size bed overlooks the ocean and also has a door leading out to the spacious beachfront lanai. The large master closet provides extra space for storage. The master bath not only includes a dual vanity, but a separate room for the toilet, and roomy walk-in shower. Two bedrooms and a shared bathroom are on the inside of the unit, set aside from the main living area, and perfect for families or groups that may want some separation from time to time. One bedroom has a king bed and the other two twins. Condo amenities include climate control, ceiling fans, complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, all linens and towels, and a full-size washer/dryer in the unit. Additionally, Gullwing has a an *ELEVATED AND NEWLY IMPROVED* tennis court on the 2nd floor deck of the building.


50 Shades of White at Gullwing is located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island within walking distance of a public marina, movie theatre, and restaurants. There is also a quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, and SWFL International Airport. The beach at this portion of the island connects its guests to seven miles of white sugar sand beach. A trolley is available from directly in front of the resort to the Times Square area where there are numerous clubs, restaurants, and boutiques. The trolley can also take you south to the secluded Lover's Key Park. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2-mile drive away and a CVS (in Santini Plaza) is within easy walking distance.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property. This condo is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The views of the Gulf were amazing, and we enjoyed the screened in balcony area. We used the kitchen to prepare several meals, and it was stocked with enough kitchenware to do so easily. The pool was nice and the stretch of beach was vast! Plenty of space to relax and enjoy the scenery! Highly recommend this property for families!

There was no mention in the listing that the exterior of the building was being renovated from the recent hurricane. There was construction equipment in the parking area, ropes and cables dangling from exterior equipment, blue covering material over many of the exterior windows. The unit itself had been totally renovated and was exceptional except that many of the electrical outlets, only one of the plugs worked and the hot/cold was reversed in the kitchen and master suite shower and sinks, which was OK once we figured it out.

Great place!

Beautiful condo - everything we needed including washer/dryer which i think was not mentioned in description. Great view. Beautiful beach - great shell collecting! Very comfy beds. Keurig coffee maker. Ice maker. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Publix grocery store very nearby. No restaurants within walking distance, which was a bummer, but obvious signs of Hurricane Ian everywhere still. All good!

Disappointed

Let me start with saying that the property has been renovated beautifully. I have given the property management several weeks to get back to me to make following Issues right on their end -and they have not. Communication with coastal properties who manages this VRBO is very poor. We literally were in between two hurricanes And we wanted to make sure that we could still stay in the property amenities would be open. Emailed them and asked about these issues and they told me they would get back to me. They never did! I ended up calling the office at Gullwing. We were supposed to get a mid-week cleaning service because we were there for eight days, that never happened! They never communicated anything with us the whole week that we were there. Also, the VRBO listing says there is a small amount of construction on the north side of the building. This is untrue! There is construction on the exterior of the entire building and all over inside of it as well! From 8 AM till 5 PM, all we heard was jackhammers, which was very disruptive for our whole trip. Also, for our whole duration of our stay, the hot tub was not usable, which they also never communicated with us! We have stayed at GullWing many many times before and have never had any of these issues with other property management companies.

Beautiful but long walk to the beach

Beautiful apartment! The view was stunning! Only thing I didn’t like is how far the condo sat back. The walk to the shore is long, but the beach chair rental company will give you a ride to the shore.
