The shower in our room had no water pressure, and shower rod was hanging by a thread of silicone. Pillows we were provided were adequate for small size children versus adults. Vagrants hanging around the property with no visible security. Booked the room for 4 adults and we were pro - two towels. Never staying at yhis hotel again.

Need complete renovation and cleaning

Everything in the hotel was terrible except staff. Hotel was dirty, it smelled really bad, elevator was slow, bathroom faucets were not working properly, absolutely terrible breakfast and worst part is bed bugs on bed made my itchy all night.

La Quinta Inn Tulare is in a great location near food and shopping. Enjoyed our stay. The free breakfast is simple but good. For the price it was fine. I'd choose to stay there again.

Staff friendly and on top of helping but was disappointed that renovation was not started and was not made aware of the coldness of inside of hotel. I would not stay again because of lack of up to date and musty smell of hallways and room.

The beds were very comfortable, had a good nights sleep each night we were there The breakfast was adequate. Dry cereal, waffles, sausage and scrambled eggs. Typical continental. The room was bare bones, no mirror, one office type chair, no clock, had to ask for hair dryer. Run down furniture. Very dirty floor, when showering the bathtub was black from my dirty feet. Our white socks were black from the dirty floor. I had to wipe my feet with a wet one before putting my shoes on. When you opened the drawers there was lots of dust and particles in them. Stingy on the towels, two wash cloths, hand towels and bath towels for two people. Was quiet, for being on the first floor. We stayed three nights and we did not ask for room service during our stay. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The price was too high for the poor quality.

Old, worn out and smelly

Overall it's an very old and worn out hotel. The strong smell of laundry detergent perfume mixed with something rotten hit right in the face as soon as I stepped into the lobby. My room sink drainage bypass had thick gunk and smells bad. The bed sheets had very strong smell of laundry detergent perfume. Why can't they use perfume less laundry detergent and what if the guests are allergic to it? The only positive is the waffle machines and I appreciated they offered whipped cream that was a nice touch!
