This condo is just a short walk away from Shands Hospital, University of Florida, the Veterinary School, and the VA Hospital. A 5 minute drive to downtown. It's a one-bedroom condo on the first floor. Whether you're in town visiting Gainesville, at the University of Florida for an event, or on a clinical rotation, this place is in a great location. Within walking distance to football and basketball games.
The space
This is a one-bedroom condominium that can sleep up to 4 people comfortably. The bedroom has a queen bed and there's an air mattress can be conveniently placed in the living room.

Lots of conveniences in the kitchen allow you to make all your meals if you wish. Restaurants and shopping are close by, whether you're looking for downtown nightlife, college life in Midtown, or mainstream eating/shopping in Butler Plaza on Archer Road.

Entertainment in the living room includes a large screen TV with high speed streaming (Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc.).

Just a heads up we will provide you with one parking space pass. The parking pass will be located on the dining table. Any other cars in the parking lot will be towed by Gainesville police. Note that a bus stop is right outside the complex on 16th Avenue.

The property was clean and in the perfect location for our event, but it was 3of us. The sofas are not sleeper, also there was an air mattress, but no bed linen. The property is conducive to only 1or possibly 2 people because the only bath is in the bedroom, but overall description adequate and host communication was great.

It was difficult to get the directions for entering the property within the proscribed timeline. Got it just the day before. Parking was easy. However, mornings were noisy, in part because of the maintenance work going on. Appliances were a little dated and no instructions included but did work. Overall, pretty much what would be expected for the price.

I gave a 2 star because the location to the Shands Hospital (had some testing) is great! Unfortunately the condo is old and musty smelling (we checkedout a full day early, the mustiness began to burn our eyes). There is a water leak at the bedroom door that leaves the carpet soaked all the time. The toilet is loose and shakes, needs repair. The microwave over the stove dose not work, but the one on the counter does. The furniture in the living room is too large for the space (there is barely 10 inches to move around the large coffee table)and it is about 30 years old. The bath towels are thin and old, no hypoallergenic pillows covers on the old brown flat pillows. Had to clean the kcup coffee maker (it had not been cleaned from the prior guests). Also noticed the shelf on the freezer door was dirty. There were two plates, three bowls and 24 coffee cups for dishware. The glassware is basically non existent. There were so many details that had been overlooked in a vacation property that I cannot recommend this place.

Came from out of state for UF clinicals at Shands. Great place, quiet, super easy short walk to the hospital. Easy check in, no long to-do list to check out. Would recommend.

We stayed 2 nights after a cruiseon our way home. This is an appointment older condo community so don't expect the Hilton but the area was quiet and the condo was very clean. Parking was just a few feet from the door.

Location. Location. Location!

Super location. Clean, great amenities. Equipped kitchen, wonderful seating areas. Stayed for four nights, homecoming weekend, close to everything. Adjacent parking was awesome. Will visit again! Great host.

UF Graduation stay

This is a great location for getting to graduation venues on campus. Good bed and a quiet location at night. Dead bolt key was a little tricky to turn & door a little sticky. Once we realized that, we came and went with ease. Host was very responsive to questions. Would stay here again.

Nice apartment

Communication with owner was clear and check in was easy. Inside the apartment was really nice and the furniture was cozy. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh. Also the refreshments of choice included my favorite brand of water so that was a nice bonus.
