Rooms weren’t soundproofed. Could hear people next door chatting early in the morning. Also hear a lot of bangs and thuds, possibly from luggage, not sure if it was from above or next door. The beds were comfy, a bit lumpy but okay. Not sure about the pillows. They were very small. Had to use 2 pillows as they were very soft. The shower in the bathroom is over a bath and the shower head only goes to a certain height. Okay for short people. The breakfast was okay. Good quality bacon, choice of eggs. Good selection of food. The coffee was lousy and also the juices which tasted like they were watered down. I’ve stayed at a few hotels at Gatwick airport and don’t think I would stay here again unless the soundproofing was better and bathrooms were updated to just having a shower instead of a bath.
