I stayed at Drummer Boy Campground and RV, and it was a really great experience. The campground is very big, so you should bring a bike or wear good walking shoes, because there is a lot of space to cover. I actually liked how big it was, since there was always something to see and do.
Everyone there was very friendly, and it felt super safe the whole time. That made it even more enjoyable. There are also tons of activities for families, so kids and adults can all have fun. Whether youâre hanging out at the campground or heading out to explore, thereâs always something going on.
One of the best parts is that Drummer Boy is really close to Gettysburg. If youâre interested in history, this campground is perfect because you can easily visit all the battlefields, museums, and other historic sites nearby. Itâs awesome for families who like to learn about the past while also enjoying the outdoors.
We stayed in one of the cabins, and it was very comfortable. The cabins have most of what you need for a couple nights, but if you plan to cook, you should bring your own pots, pans, or cooking tools. The cabins are cozy and clean, and they make a great choice if you donât have an RV.
Overall, I highly recommend Drummer Boy Campground and RV. Itâs fun, safe, close to amazing history, and a perfect spot for families.
