Though the house is in the Grand Marais city limits and close to downtown, it is completely secluded and quiet. It is a quarter mile drive down a private gravel road off Highway 61 at the western edge of town. The newly completed paved bike trail to Cut Face Creek, and paved bike path into town, are at the top of Ravenwood Road. Up Yonder at the Harbor Light is across the street from the turn-off, and Putt ân Pets minigolf is next door. Down the hill into Grand Marais, there are many restaurants ( Angry Trout Cafe, Gunflint Tavern, Voyageur Brewing, Sven and Oleâs Pizza, South of the Border Cafe, Blue Water Cafe, My Sisterâs Place, Superior Creamery, Cascade Restaurant (southwest along Highway 61 in the Cascade River area), and Sydneyâs Frozen Custard), as well as Java Moose Espresso Cafe , and several food trucks (The Crooked Spoon, Taste of India, The Bad Seed, and Shook Smoothies).
