Great little getaway

This was the perfect little spot to stay for my Grand Marais solo-cation. The location and view can’t be beat! It’s definitely a bare-bones stay, but that’s all I really needed for this trip. I’d definitely stay here again!

Amazing Getaway!

We spend a weekend here for our anniversary weekend and would absolutely stay again! The location was perfect with a private beach and walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. We didn’t need to communicate with the host at all because everything was laid out for the check in/out process on VRBO and in the room. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash in the room even though it was stated on the listing so we had to go out and buy our own. Loved that there were extra blankets for the chilly nights and would definitely book again!

Fantastic views of Lake Superior

Enjoyed drinking my morning coffee while watching the sunrise over East Bay and Artist’s Point. Loved listening and watching the waves. A nice quiet place in a warm cabin feel. Heater worked well!

Quaint and cozy.

The room was sufficient, simple, and cozy. Met all my basic needs. I saw northern lights out at night. I wish Red Pine Reality wouldn't have left lights on the entire night to pollute the sky. Every cough, step, and voice of the people above you will be heard, so I would suggest earplugs and noise canceling headphones so you sleep well. But otherwise, a nice cozy stay.

The location is perfect
you can walk to shops, restaurants, coffee, bakery and then being right on the beach was amazing! The room is very comfortable with amazing views of the lake! We loved it!

Spectacular Views of Superior

Our purpose for trip was hubby’s photography and the occurrence of a Super Blue Moon. We wanted more of the beach cabin vibe and this unit delivered! The expanse of Lake Superior at Grand Marais was right in our window and just a few short steps from the door. Private. Well thought out accommodations with easy access for us with some mobility limits (e.g., no stairs). The only challenge was the very low toilet, but we managed. I would definitely stay at this lovely location againâŁïž

Beautiful sorroundings

Overall a great place to stay. You couldn’t get closer to the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and the boat landing. We enjoyed the views from our room. We love this town. The room is small, but very clean and we enjoyed the coffee. Be aware that the lower unit can hear all movement, conversation and coughing in the room above.

Great place

This place was so convenient to everything in town. Like bed the sunrises from our room!! The only thing was, it would have been nice to have coffee as there was the coffee pot, creamer, sweeteners & filters. We did get some very good coffee to brew from an establishment in town though. We will stay here again!
