Not worth the savings

We knew it wouldbt be anything special, it was budget friendly. We upgraded to the river view room, and it was just a waste of money, dirty windows and a view of the roof of an adjacent building, no view of the river. I attached a pic of our view. It was located in a pretty rough part of town, so you had to drive to get anywhere worth going safely. For the difference in price we will definitely stay elsewhere next time, but the staff was really nice.

Walked in to a dirty shower and dirty bed. No towels and staff took 4 hours to get us towels that we asked for. Deposit takes a whole month to come back is crazy for a 1 star motel. Used to come here all the time and the place turned into quite a dump. Dont let those pictures fool you. Using tvs from the 90s is hilarious too

Pro - Friendly and helpful desk workers on night and morning shift. Very clean. My friend remarked that they keep up the outside landscaping which is a good sign (?) Tall minifridge, microwave. Shower is super HOT immediately, be careful! Con - Not a smart TV, satellite. Many channels were unavailable - low signal .Can't stream from own devices. There is NOTHING walkable from here. No shops, restaurants, or public transport. You need to have a car or use food delivery. Overall, it was a pleasant staycation {my power was out). Near downtown without downtown prices. Good value.

The hotel need a facelift. I'll stay there 4 days and I move rooms because the bathroom doesn't works the toilet overflowed, and I didn't do anything to accommodate me. So I would never stay here again

The sitting area overlooking the river is nice. All balconies are fake. No stepping out of your room to look at the river. The have stepped up the cleaning of this hotel from my last stay 3 years ago.
