"I recently stayed at CALIMERA Delfino Beach Resort & Spa - All Inclusive, and overall I had a very good experience and would definitely come back. The food was excellent, with a great variety every day, and the alcoholic beverages were also very good with many different options available. The entire resort was extremely clean and very well maintained. I stayed in a bungalow with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean beach, which made the stay even more enjoyable. One thing that really stood out positively was the staff’s professionalism and responsiveness. During one of the meals, I filled out a survey mentioning that the pillows in my room were uncomfortable. The very next day, they were promptly replaced with much more comfortable ones, which I truly appreciated. The staff overall were very friendly, respectful, and welcoming. I especially appreciated that their kindness did not feel fake or tip-driven, unlike experiences I’ve had in some other North African destinations such as Egypt, where staff can sometimes appear overly nice while expecting tips in return. However, I do want to mention one negative aspect that unfortunately matched some reviews I had previously read. I had seen comments claiming that some staff members favored Italians and other Europeans while treating Arabs differently. Sadly, from my experience, there was some truth to that. I look like an Arab, and speak English. Staff would not engage with me."
