Family Cape 2025 Vacay

The home is nicely decorated and the kitchen is well stocked with equipment. The house was thoroughly cleaned with one exception. The beds and linen were good, except for one. The family area is great in that it seats many and is comfortable. Fortunately, I noted a crib in one of the photos but then didn’t see it in another, so I inquired and learned there was no mattress. It was a needed piece of equipment and would have been very problematic had we arrived expecting one. We had to bring our own. The trundle bed , also needed in our group was full of sand and uncomfortable, so we used the upstairs couch instead. The AC upstairs did not work well. We bought fans and that helped. The upstairs TV also did not work. The agency managing the property was responsive when contacted. We had great weather and despite the flaws noted, we had a nice vacation.

Great place

Overall, it was a great place to stay. Very clean and location for dogs with the bog in the back to walk was awesome. Beach not a bad drive either to get to. Would have used the vacuum but didn't seem to work. Only confusing thing was the thermostat. It was initially set at a minimum of 69' for heat if needed and 73' or 74' for AC. You could not adjust as there was a pin asked for to adjust. A couple of days prior to departure though the thermostat changed to off. I have a nest thermostat myself so was able to turn it back on. Totally understand not to abuse the heat or AC when staying at someone else's place as I would feel the same. Would be nice to be able to adjust as needed. Everything else was wonderful. Definitely would consider a future stay. Thank you

Beautiful house

We had a fantastic week in this house. It was spotless when we arrived and everything was as described. We enjoyed taking our dogs along the trail that goes to the big. It’s also close to several beaches and lots of other dog friendly trails. When the central air suddenly stopped working the rental company was extremely responsive, sending someone out at 11 pm and when it could not be repaired immediately, he installed room air conditioners until they could get it fixed. It was fixed the following afternoon and the communication with the rental company was excellent. My family had an excellent stay here and we highly recommend this house.

Best VRBO ever

This house was perfect. Very well appointed, everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfy, the furniture was spacious, the rooms were perfect. Some people previously reported the upstairs being too hot, but they have fixed that with some portable air conditioners so it was plenty cool. Close to some great beaches. Property felt very private. Was AMAZING.

Spacious, comfortable and peaceful location. The upstairs was hotter than the rest of the house but overall was a great stay and centrally located to restaurants and other activities.
