The cabin features a cozy living room with 1 queen bed and 1 sofa bed, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The bathroom includes a shower and a hair dryer for added convenience. Enjoy a tremendous stay in this amazing retreat. Cabin is fully equipped, all you need to bring is food, drinks and yourself. Feel free to reach out to us during your stay - we're happy to suggest local spots to check out. Follow The Barracks group on FB that we share local activities, restaurants, wineries and distilleries. There is plenty of free parking, but we do not offer EV charging.

Cozy little cabin. Very peaceful. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and hearing the creek down below. Mountain View was beautiful on the way there. Perfect for a couples little getaway. Very clean. Host was very nice and answered timely for all our questions. Also dog friendly. Our dogs loved being there and running around the yard.

Beautiful mountain setting, in a fairly remote location. Cabin was immaculately clean and tidy. Pet friendly, brought my dog with me. He enjoyed the basket of dog toys and treats! This host thought of everything, even kindling wood in the encloses firewood box. I would definetly recomend this cabin!

What a great find. This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Secluded enough for maximum privacy, but central to all attractions in the area. They are very pet-friendly. Our German Shepherd enjoyed the basket of dog toys and ample place to run. We even arrived to an array of farm-fresh veggies. The house is very well stocked and has everything you need for a great, relaxing break. We will return.

Very clean place with outstanding, very nice owners. The cabin has all the amenities you need and more. Wifi is good and YouTube TV. The road up to it from Parsons is long and winding but worth it. With a little luck you'll see bears like we did, almost guaranteed to see deer.

Peaceful Respite

This quiet getaway was exactly what we were looking for, two days of peace and quiet with a little bit of hiking and sightseeing. The wrap around porch provided a great place to meditate, the living space was quite comfy, and the cabin was stocked with all the basics for grilling and cooking. Check-in and check-out was a breeze! Our favorite part was the shower, very unique and that our dogs felt welcomed ( they settled in quickly and enjoyed the stay as much as we did). We would stay again and recommend to others. Brian H.
