Looking for a calm, comfortable home base near Salt Lake City? The Acadia is the ground-level studio on our three-unit farmhouse property in Riverton, Utah, built for couples and solo travelers who want easy comfort and a quiet place to land.

The space: Your entrance is through a gate and down a short sloping path — there are three steps to the door, with a grass slope right alongside if you'd rather not use them. Inside you'll find a bright studio designed for two: a relaxed living area with a couch and smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need plus a Keurig coffee maker for slow mornings, and a private bathroom that's exclusively yours. Remote work is easy here, with a dedicated workspace and fast, reliable Wi-Fi.

The farmhouse experience: Out back is a shared outdoor space that gives this property its warmth — a year-round hot tub, a comfortable outdoor patio with seating and a dining area, and a BBQ grill available to guests upon request. We want to be upfront and proud about this: these spaces are shared with the other two studios on the property, and we think it's part of the charm. It's the kind of laid-back, farmhouse-community setting where travelers chat over the hot tub or simply enjoy a quiet evening side by side under the wide Utah sky.

Good to know — please read before you book: The hot tub, patio, and backyard are communal areas shared among all three studios; they are not private to your unit. Your studio's interior is completely private and yours alone. The Acadia has its own separate entrance with no shared staircase. Our friendly golden doodle lives on the property and may be in the shared outdoor areas; other guests' dogs are occasionally in the backyard too. If that's a consideration, just reach out before booking.

Location: Riverton is a peaceful suburb in the Salt Lake City valley. Downtown Salt Lake City and the international airport are roughly 25–30 minutes away. The hiking and skiing of the Wasatch canyons (Little and Big Cottonwood) are within easy reach, and grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops are only minutes from the door. Free on-site parking is included, and there's an EV charger on the property for electric vehicles.
