EverSpring

The hotel was in a great location, with many amenities and restaurants nearby. For hikers and cyclist, the backside of the hotel has the Mickleson Trail that runs alongside it, for easy access. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only concern was a fresh red stain on the carpet and a couple of nerf darts left behind on the floor. Overall it had a good selection of breakfast food and a nice area to enjoy the mountainside to relax.

Picked the apartment due to needing more space. It was spacious. Pull out couch was kind of uncomfortable, bathroom didn’t have a fan and seemed to have water damage and gnats flying around. Loves that breakfast offered, hot dishes were cold though except for the make your own waffles. Staff was nice and helpful.

The property was clean. They do not have an elevator- so if you are on the second floor, you will have to carry all your luggage up a flight of stairs with a landing in between. The breakfast consisted of biscuits that were not fresh, appeared to be frozen and semi thawed and gravy not that great. Coffee not that good either. Parking is very tight and not that convenient. Dinning choices are not that great for fine dining. Expensive for the couple of choices available. Watch out for the the police by the Wind Caves, they have a speed trap where there is a sudden speed drop.

Very clean for a 2 star hotel. Staff is very nice. However, this property has no elevator so it’s not the most convenient for disabled especially if the handicapped rooms are booked.

We enjoyed our visit. It was very close to attractions, breakfast was good. Our only complaint was that the cholrine smell in the pool was very strong..we were all coughing and propped doors open to air it out. It seemed better two days later though.

We did not know our room was not connected to the motel itself, the place we stay was nice and clean but very small for an apartment. Very unhandy for us as we had two children with us that had to be led across the street to swim and for breakfast and whatever. I don’t like to complain but it was not what we had in mind . Sorry !

A very nice hotel! Hill City is very close by, a charming little town with restaurants and gift shops. Mt. Rushmore, which was incredible, was an 18 minute drive. A great selection for breakfast. Very happy with our stay!
