Loved this hotel, beautiful room with large balcony, great a/c, lovely rooftop pool, great bfast. Only negative is paper thin walls.- could hear next doors tv going late at night. Otherwise perfect.

Great hotel, nice pool and lots of breakfast options. Unfortunately it was very loud due to night club across the street blasting music till all hours - no fault of the hotel but very noisy street making it difficult to sleep. That’s big cities I guess! Staff were very friendly and accommodating - allowed us to use all hotel facilities until the evening we flew out which was much appreciated. Check out is at 12 which is great.

Charming boutique hotel in the center of district 1. Close to attractions, restaurants and malls. Good customer service. Our room accomodations include breakfast and afternoon tea. The pool can get crowded in the afternoons so best to swim in the mornings or evenings.

Everyone was really friendly and they made things easy. The hotel was handy and shops etc were all close. Room was big and clean. Pool was big considering it was on the roof.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would happily return! The staff were extremely lovely and polite—always ready to help with a smile, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast was a real highlight. There was a great variety of options that changed daily, including soups, stir-fries, rice, noodles, fresh fruits, vegetables, and plenty of sweet treats. The daily afternoon tea on level 10 was a charming bonus and a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. The rooftop swimming pool was another plus. Not only was it a good size and well-maintained, but the views over the city were stunning—we even caught the fireworks from up there! Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a large bathroom and comfy beds. Everything we needed was provided, and the attention to cleanliness was noticeable. The location is also excellent—most of Ho Chi Minh City's main attractions were within walking distance, which made sightseeing super convenient. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

A very good hotel in an excellent location. Pretty good breakfast. Helpful staff, especially Kent. We had a Bonard junior suite, which was nice and had a large balcony where you could sit outside. The only negative in the suite was there is NO SHOWER! Just a bath tub with spa functions. I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel room without a shower. Some rooms in the hotel do have showers, so best to check before booking.

Good hotel but avoid the junior suites

Book the cheaper executive rooms. We stayed in these two nights and they were much better than the Bonard Junior Suites which we booked for one night and which cost us more. The suits have a bath tub next to the bed. If you want a shower, it is on the outside balcony overlooking the streets of Hoi Chi Minh city. Rooms were very clean. When we first checked in one of our two rooms smelt of stale water but they quickly moved us. Breakfast was good although service always started just after the 6.30am official start time, they were always busy still setting up then. The staff were awesome and the hotel is in a great location. Good hotel but given the choice available in Ho Chi Minh I reckon we would stay somewhere else next time. Definitely avoid the junior suites. Inferior room and will cost you more

Great location. One block back from the infamous walking street and cafe apartments. Saigon Skydeck on your front porch. Handy convenient store and Michelin star restaurant “wild Rice” one door down. Staff at accommodation so friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast selection (we had breakfast included on our booking). The room we had had a balcony and outdoor bath. A/C very comfortable. Did find the rooms quite dated, but clean and everything worked. The gym area quite small and when there is more than 1 person in there it can feel quite intimate. Not a lot of space for a floor workout. Did not use the beauty services but they did provide. The pool was nice, but not a lot of room to sit if other people already there. None of the negatives bothered us as we were out and about mostly. I would stay here again and will recommend to other family and friends. Thank you Al Lac Charner for the comfortable stay and memories of a lifetime.

Was really looking forward to our stay at this property but were left disappointed. Started off fantastic with attentive staff at the door and warm welcome through check in. Unfortunately the free afternoon tea was extremely disappointing. Food choices were limited, dry and stale. Breakfast was no different. Very Asian focused buffet options which I understand we are in Asia but hotel caters mainly to foreigners. Stayed four nights and only used the Afternoon Tea once and breakfast once as preferred to pay for better food options elsewhere. Pool was overly crowded and did not look like a relaxing place to hang out. Room was ok however very dark (ensured we had booked a room with a window). Housekeeping did not service our room until after 4pm by which time we were back relaxing in our room so was inconvenient. Amazing location, close to everything you need.

We had booked the bonard junior suite, which in the pictures showed a shower we could use. When we checked in and got our room, there was no shower only a bathtub. We asked to be switched to the room we saw and booked but they couldn't until the next day. The next day we switched and had the accommodations we expected. Other than that when we checked in we had no problems with the hotel. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The surrounding area has lots to do and choose from for dining. And the hotel is in a great spot of the city.

The stay at his hotel could not have been better. The room was clean and to an exceptional standard, the staff always friendly and attentive. It’s in a really good location in District 1, so lots of tourist sights are easily in walkable distance. Would happily stay here again

We have stayed here before , choosing to return because of the excellent service and value for money .we received an upgrade to a light filled spacious room on the 8 th floor which was lovely .Thank you to Kent who served us well during our entire stay .
