DO NOT STAY AT THIS BED BUG INFESTED HOTEL. Got woke up at 230am due to a bed bug biting my 6 months pregnant wife. My 5 year old daughter was in the same bed with her but luckily wasn't affected. So we went to the front desk lady Nancy and was told we couldn't get a refund due to it being booked through a third party. She stated we could be relocated to a different room, but why would we want to do that after being traumatized. So we sat out in the parking lot in below freezing temperature for an hour trying to deal with hotels.com for a refund. Wasn't getting anywhere so started the over an hour drive back home even though this was the first night of a two night stay. About 30 minutes into the drive hotels.com mentioned being relocated instead of having to drive home then back in a few hours to take our daughter to our previously planned trip to the children's museum. So pulled over and sat on hold with them until we could finally get relocated to a better location and booked into the room at now 6:30am. So we sat in the freezing temperature/ran my car wasting gas for 3 and a half hours waiting for some sort of resolution. When I spoke to the front staff of the hotel she assured me the GM Gabbie would be in the next day and would call me regarding the situation. When I finally woke up at 12pm with hardly any rest due to having nightmares I had yet to receive a call from her. When I called she was very unemphatic. Said that's what happens when you stay at hotels. SMH!

We have stayed there with ok experience in in past. Noise was the main issue. This stay was unacceptable because of mold. I am very sensitive to mold after having been deployed to Biloxi for Katrina. My lungs started closing up while staying in the room. Mold was visible. Lighting is outdated and insufficient. The switch inside the door operates nothing.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this location was genuinely disappointing — especially given the circumstances. My stay coincided with a declared state of emergency due to severe winter weather, which made clear communication and basic support even more important. Unfortunately, communication from this location was extremely poor. I reached out multiple times with questions and concerns and received little to no response, leaving me without guidance during an already stressful and unsafe situation. When issues did arise, there was no sense of urgency, ownership, or follow-through from staff. During a state of emergency, guests rely on hotels not just for lodging, but for accurate information, responsiveness, and a basic level of care. That expectation was not met here. I understand that unexpected situations happen — especially during severe weather. However, how those situations are handled matters, and in this case, they simply weren’t. I would strongly recommend additional training around communication, escalation, and guest care, particularly during emergency situations. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at this location again.
