Nice Corner lot. Very clean. Hot water for days with the most amazing water pressure and flow rate! I'm contemplating ditching all the low flow fixtures in my house!
This mid-century home was an easy 15min commute to IMS. For our group of 4 singles, we had plenty of space. The home has retained a few vintage elements that are all in working order. A couple issues popped up early in our 3wk trip, but everything was fixed/corrected in record time. The home has a 2-car garage that helped protect our vehicles during stormy weather. It has a great A/C system, but our weather was cooler than usual, so it was hardly used. The water pressure was fine, and plenty of hot water for showers. The kitchen has a washer/dryer that we used. The cook top is 1950s push-button GE electric! The wall oven was clean and also vintage.Living room has a great TV, and plenty of seats for 4 to enjoy. Bedrooms were big, beds were comfy, and baseboard heat was individually controlled in each room. The vintage bathroom is a cool mint green!Overall, we were very happy here. We travel as group to several events at IMS, so we'll keep this place on our radar. Thanks so much for hosting us.
We were highly disappointed that there were no decent pans to cook with. All of the non-stick coatings were flaking off or they were rusty and gross. There was a glass dish that we were able to use...the appliances were very old - cooking simple frozen items took forever. Plan ahead for this.
There were no instructions (for air, heat, remotes, for clean up). I wasn't able to use some things because we couldn't figure it out and I was worried I wouldn't clean up the way they wanted and then get charged.
The house is old, which is fine. It smells and feels old, because it is lol The pictures look much more fresh than it is in person.
Overall, this house worked for what we needed it for. It was just ok.
