The host was always very responsive to my questions and needs. We had trouble getting the hot water to work in the shower on the first floor, but I alerted him to it and told him he didn’t need to fix it in the middle of our stay. We used the shower on the second floor instead – although had to clean the drain as it wasn’t draining (but the water was nice and hot!). Overall exactly what we needed - a convenient location for our weekend in the city.

We didn't use the kitchen. The house did have a funny smell like septic tank when you first walked in. Upstairs shower drain was slow and would back up. Other than that its a great location.

Host did fix problem we had with coffee maker but not with shower. Did give a refund for inconvenience. However, only 1 shower with hot water and 8 women was more than a slight inconvenience. The heat in this rental is very intense in 2 rooms with the other rooms lacking. It was clean and it close proximity to downtown.

Duplex. This is a Duplex.

Overall, a good stay. House was sturdy and roomy. Like, really roomy. Two of the bedrooms (all upstairs) were huge! There was an adorable cat next door that my group kept going out to see!A few issues:*Please be aware that this house is a duplex. It might not mean much to people, but my group can be loud sometimes (we couldn't be this time!), and we would not want to cause any issues. *The fully equipped kitchen was incorrect. There were certainly a plethora of coffee cups and glasses, but there were exactly 5 plates. Kind of difficult to for 10 people to eat all at once! We were only able to locate 3 pots and pans. We had planned on cooking, but abandoned that plan once we saw what was there. *Outside of the king bed, all of the other beds were uncomfortable. With all that being said, all of the above are easily fixable, if they care to. I don't like being negative, so I will reiterate that the duplex was spacious and every time I messaged the host, I had an answer within minutes. I had a pleasant experience every time I messaged them!
