Enjoy Life on the Lazy River!! Located on a quiet, private road across from the East Branch river with a short walking trail at the end of the road and a swimming hole easy walking distance. Enjoy the thrilling area attractions during the day then retreat to your private home with spacious deck and Fire pit for friends and family. Quiet private road, Great for morning walks (with your dog and coffee). Beds include queen size, full size bed, bunks, with additional futon for overflow. Perfect for family or two, or group of friends. Come enjoy, Story Land, hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, lots of great mountain bike trails. 3 ski mountains nearby, or Nordic skiing also close or just relaxing on the deck with the Hummingbirds by the river. A secluded setting, yet so close to everything. The Deck overlooks the River and is our favorite place in summer and Fall to start our day , enjoying a cup of coffee with our dog or to wind down with a glass of wine in the evening watching the sun set behind the mountains. A Brewery is a 2 mile drive from our home, one of our favorite hang outs. The soothing sound and sight of the river does wonders for our soul. The Hummingbirds are delightful both morning and evening. You must be 25 years old to rent this house.

This was an awesome place to stay. The hosts were very nice and if we had a question they answered us right back. It was pet friendly and our dogs loved the deck. It had everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen was well equipped with all the appliances and dishware we needed to cook some good meals while we were staying there. I recommend this place 100%. We had a great time. New Hampshire is gorgeous in the fall. We hope to go there again in the future and stay at this same place.

Book with caution. I’ve used VRBO for many years and have always had positive experiences with responsive reasonable hosts —unfortunately that was the case this time. I accidentally booked the wrong dates and realized it within 24 hours. I immediately reached out, fully acknowledging my mistake, and even offered to rebook a longer stay at a higher rate to avoid forfeiting the 1200 payment. While the owner acknowledged that date mix-ups sometimes happen, he was unwilling to offer any flexibility beyond a few limited dates in the immediate weeks following - despite having many similar weekends available later according to the listing’s calendar. Because of existing work and family commitments, those immediate term options weren’t feasible.I take full responsibility for my initial error, but was disappointed by the lack of customer service or accommodation compared to the many wonderful VRBO experiences I’ve had. Proceed with caution as any flexibility or understanding from this host is unlikely.

Awesome get away

The house has everything you need for cooking, and serving. Nice open floor plan, great for watching movies or playing games or making puzzles. Would love to go back in summer to enjoy the deck view.

Very close to several ski mountains Cranmore being our family’s favorite One suggestion is an upgrade for mattresses and the gas stove in living area made the upstairs very hot even with fan turned off otherwise no complaints

Great place to stay!

This place was PERFECT. Hosts very communicative and attentive and location was perfect. Just the right distance from town and skiing. We had no issues at all. Really enjoyed it and hope to be back in the spring for more adventures. Our dogs loved it too!

Location is great, but be careful on the deck, it is falling apart. Also beware that the listing claims it is dog friendly and to keep your dog off the furniture, but owner charged us an unauthorized additional $150 for having a small comfort dog at the house for 2 nights. There is no mention of this fee in the ad. The grill is charcoal, no gas. The internet/TV was not useable day 1, but the owner was responsive and walked us through the reboot. Overall our stay was pleasant, but there are much better places out there for the money.

Great family escape, pet friendly!!

Beautiful home. Great location! Two bathrooms downstairs and none upstairs was the biggest surprise along w having to empty the dehumidifier 2-3 times per day to avoid the musty smell. Kitchen, living area and deck are the “golden nuggets” but there are a few loose boards on deck that should be taken care of asap, my husband lost his footing close to the stairs which could have been disastrous for someone else. Deck chairs and cushions are an added benefit and make it so much more enjoyable to listen to the river. We ate in a few nights and enjoyed the well stocked kitchen. Hosts are very pleasant to work with, directions on arrival and departure were clear and easy to follow.

Not what was advertised

We chose this property because it was on the river and pet friendly. Air conditioning was important to us, so we were sure to choose a property with AC. All bedrooms for this property are on the lower level with NO AC. There is one portable window AC on the top floor for the open floor plan kitchen, dining room, and living room. We had a hot and humid week. The downstairs bedrooms were extremely hot. You had to open the windows to get any air but then there was so much condensation that we had to constantly mop the floors because they were soaked. The listing states grill provided. It did not mention it was a charcoal grill that you needed to buy your own charcoal and lighter fluid. The pictures on the listing are old. Possibly from a past real estate listing. The outside is overgrown. My husband was sitting on the deck when the back leg of his chair poked through the rotted wood on the deck. The river is not easily accessible. The coffee maker did not work for the week. I had to text the owner to ask what to do with the trash because the listing or the book provided did not state where to put the trash. The refrigerator was full of various food from either past renters or the owners. The one positive is that the owners were responsive and left a 4 pack of MOAT beer for us. Other than that, we were very disappointed. We ended up not finishing our vacation and went home a few days early.

Great Stay

My family and I loved this property. The location was peaceful along the river and the house was exactly as listed. The owners were very responsive and had great suggestions when asked about the area. One suggestion would be to make it known that cellular service is spotty in the area and even with Wifi ,messages/calls don't always go through.

Very comfortable stay! Plenty of room for 2 families. Very spacious and well stocked kitchen. Great location near many ski resorts ! Private location for walks with the dog. Would love to check this place out in the summer. Host was very responsive.

Relaxing view on the Saco River

My husband and I stayed with my mother and two dogs. Brian and Shirley were very helpful and communicative. They even left us welcome gifts. The Intervale Ale was enjoyed. And we appreciated the calendar of Shirley’s photography. Listening to the sound of the Saco River and the walking trail was therapeutic. The dogs loved it! Their home was comfortable and dog friendly. The only recommendation we have is to improve the lighting in the kitchen and bathroom next to the laundry. But it was no big deal. Lovely, secluded area

The property is as advertised and well maintained. The house was clean and everything was in good working order. We enjoyed our stay here and loved the area. The owner reached out early and was pleasant. The issue of what to do with our garbage was our only hiccup. We did not know the policy until after we booked and we were not allowed to drop it off at the transfer station so we had to bring it home in our car.

The property is as described, everything we needed was supplied. Super clean, owner very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Location Terrific!

Our family loved our stay at this cozy cabin by the creek. It served as home base as we went out hiking each day., and yet close to dining, Mount Washington, and the shops in North Conway. The bed my husband & I were in was more firm than we are accustomed to. The kitchen was well-stocked, it was evident this is a home and not just square feet to rent out. Brian was easy to work with. Overall a good experience in Intervale!

Relaxing Home in Perfect Location

This was our 1st time renting a house and what a wonderful experience!! We were so happy to find a rental so close to North Conway and would allow us to bring our dog. Everything went amazing. The owners had great communication with us from booking to leaving. The house is amazing ! You can tell they take pride in their property- and hosting it to guests. I could go on and on- but with 2 Kids (12/9) and a baby- (6months) and our dog hank-- we had the best time in this amazing house/location and hosts. Thank you so much for the accomodations and amzing vacation that will last lifetimes with our family.
