Check in was aggravating. Booked a king size and was told, on arrival no king size available. Didn't show up early either, just "No king size available".

Not a "bad hotel" necessarily I booked it during 4th of July and ended up REALLY overpaying due to the following: -Requested 2nd floor suite and given a 1st floor suite with a broken door (needed to try the door handle several times to get it open even after depressing the handicapped button (per instruction)). -Shower head was extremely loose in wall and wiggled when you turned the shower on/off. -Didn't get any room service, bed remade, new towels, etc. -Couldn't sleep at all. Ice machine was on the wall next to the room and other guests were using it at 1:30 a.m. then again for 20 min straight at 7:00 a.m. on the same day. -Exit door was right next to the room as well so all you heard during your stay was the door slamming the entire time at all hours. Once again, not the worst hotel but I paid almost $600 for 2 nights and could've had a much better stay at a different hotel for a similar price.

Reception person could not find mariott confirmation. Would not proceed with check in even though we called hotel in advance to change name of person checking in. It took over an hour to finally getting things straightened out with help from Expedia.

A Marriott Courtyard is not doing housekeeping is bringing them down to a motel 1 property. It seems you need to ask for housekeeping but they not even inform you. Even if they did informed me it is a motel standard. really low class.

originally dealt with Steve when booking and was told that of the 6 rooms booked we should be able to get in early on some as we had a wedding to get ready for. directed to call back about a week before stay and i did. found out Steve nolonger there and spoke with Mike who stated they were fully booked the evening before our arrival and to call mid to late morning on arrival and they would see what they could do. made repeated calls the morning of arrival and kept getting sent to a voice mailbox and no return call. Arrived and dealt with a nice kid who looked swamped and unsure of what to do. he radioed his assistant manager "cassie" who refused to come to the front desk and assist him leaving the poor guy overwhelmed. was told later by another employee that 'Cassie" was a terrible manager who none of the employees liked and only had her job because her mom was the manager. No id was requested for the bookings at check in and at least 3 of the rooms were issued door key cards to different people in the wedding party and most had to have the key cards reporgramed at least 1 time and mine i had to have doen 3x as they were not working.

Hotel was clean, but the room was very humid and minimal A/C. Even after showering, it felt like I needed another shower just to get the dew off. The pool area seemed very outdated. Would have been nice to have the hot tub available, but it had a sheet of wood over it. There was no restroom near the pool area, so when you need to use the restroom, you literally need to walk through the lobby Ara to the general restroom. The ice machine on the second floor was nonexistent - just an empty room. I expected more from the hotel based on the hotel name and reputation for being a decent hotel. Also, no breakfast included. I don't think I'll ever stay at one if these types of hotels again.

Older Marriot. Bathroom tight. Door barely and inch from toilet. Apparently someone was trying to get into room a little after 10. (Probably wrong room) I did call down to front desk and told person working. I was put on hold for almost 10 min and when he came back on line asked if he could help me. I told him again and his response was there is only one person in the room and put on hold again. I then hung up. Spoke with morning gentlemen about this and said response from evening person was not appropriate. The person nite shift said evening person was swamped with people checking in and new. I understand people have to learn but if 1 or 100 were checking in, it still wasn’t handled well. The gentlemen who was on days with a pony tail (sorry didn’t remember name) agreed and was very conciliatory. I agreed with him.

This is very nice property. The hotel main areas and our room were extremely clean. It is located approximately 10 minutes away from Ithaca so not too far but also there aren’t many restaurants in the area near the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant but it’s extremely overpriced. We spent $45 for breakfast (oatmeal, avocado toast, a fruit cup and coffee).
