Our room had a bit of a musty smell - and there was a portable dehumidifier in the room, though it was not plugged in. The room was clean but some of the furnishings were clearly dated (a few minor scuffs).

What’s funny is we had the opposite experience two nights before. The staff couldn’t care less about the fact that they didn’t have anything we needed. The AC worked well though. Other than that, it was ROUGH.

The property is run down. The pool is nasty. Men's clothes and underwear were hanging on the pool fence. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The air conditioner worked great.

The elevator was broken and the ice machine on the first floor was broken. I have a bad knee. It was hard to walk up the stairs. The water pressure in the bathroom was very low. The sink didn’t have hot water

first room we were given had no shower curtain and tv didn’t work. we were given a second room, it smelled damp and musty and there was no battery in smoke alarm, the attachment was hanging loose. The lady that checked us in was awesome.

Would not recommend staying here. There was no working ice machine, the rooms smelled very musty, several doors had been propped open for some reason and others had no doors or door knobs were missing, paper thin walls, I could go on. We arrived late and just stayed one night traveling home but I would not do it again.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone! Nasty!!

We have never stayed in such an awful hotel room. The beds weren't bad, sheets were clean and it was comfortable. The door knobs were about to fall off. The walls need painted badly. The rooms were dimly lit. The couch needed to be trashed. It was nasty dirty and was not comfortable to sleep on at all. There was rust on the bathroom door frame, cracks in the shower surround that had been puttied. There may have been some sort of floor damage as it went down hill toward the bathroom and then the floor creaked around the toilet. There was black on the ceiling above the sink... maybe mold?! The trim was missing in places. The "kitchen" area cabinet needed replaced the cabinet was not all painted and had badly applied contact paper. There was rust around the ceiling sprinklers. The room had some kind of funky humidity that made everything feel a bit damp and the carpet... we didn't touch the carpet unless we had shoes on. I have never typed a bad review for a hotel. The reviews had a 8.2, but this was not an 8.2 room by any stretch of the imagination. This is just not at all the quality we expected from a Comfort Inn.

We stay in Jasper every two years while on a roadtrip to visit family. This is one hotel where a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) can stay in one room together. The rate varies each time, but i would say its pretty average cost. 120 to 150. Queen beds are comfortable, a/c is always nice and cold, shower is always hot with decent pressure, the free breakfast is always a plus. They always give us a bag of bedding for the pull out couch without having to ask for it, which i really like. The rooms are very spacious even with the pull out bed being out. We have never tried the pool, so i can't comment on that. It is not far from many different restaurants and stores. Walmart is right down the road if you need a basic item. It could use some updates/repairs but none of that effected our stay. I would recommend staying at this location to others and will likely stay here again when we go back that direction.

We had to wait for the breakfast bar to be restocked. The food was good. The staff restocking the bar was a bit slow to notice that things had run out. The property appears to be aging: needs wallpaper repair or replacement, etc.

This hotel was terrible! We got to our room, 101, and it smelled of urine, the door hinge was pried off, the paint was peeling, there was no hot water, the smoke detector had been ripped off the wall. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will not return nor would I recommend this hotel to my friends, family, coworkers or even my worst enemy.

The room was disgusting. The walls had water leaks and were wet. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The carpet floor was wet. The couch had brown stains. The bedding looked unclean.
